Thornbrae Cottage is the latest addition to the Thornbrae Collection of superb holiday cottages on the outskirts of Alnwick. This modern, single storey stone-built cottage is finished to a high standard and offers luxurious holiday accommodation for up to 4 guests.
Within the cottage, there is a light and spacious open plan living area with lounge, dining and kitchen. Guests are welcome to use the free Wi-Fi. There are two bedrooms; the master has a king size bed and large en-suite with double walk in shower. The second bedroom is a twin room and there is a lovely family bathroom with shower over the bath. All on one level, this cottage is suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
Outside the cottage, there is an enclosed patio area which features a private hot tub with a canopy overhead, ensuring whatever the weather, you can enjoy this lovely outdoor space with your friends and family. The patio also has an outdoor dining area where you can relax with your food and drink.
As a bonus, this cottage has access to additional on-site leisure facilities, housed in a purpose-built, light and spacious development. The facilities include a gym, pool table, great lounge area with large flat screen TV, changing facilities with shower and WC. Outside there is a patio area with a large dining table, BBQ, sauna and an additional shared hot tub. This area is perfect for families and friends holidaying together within the Thornbrae Collection of cottages, looking for communal space to relax in and dine together. Guests also have access to shared gardens in the grounds with children's play equipment. 
Thornbrae Cottage provides the perfect base for exploring the stunning county of Northumberland with days out to the coast, including Alnmouth beach only 10 minutes drive from the cottage and the popular town centre of Alnwick, just a short walk, where you will find an excellent range of cafe's, boutique shops, restaurants and not forgetting the award winning Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden attractions - both within easy reach.

Accommodation Summary: 

Accommodation all on one level. Ideal for anyone with restricted mobility.

Entrance to hallway with door leading through to open plan living area comprising of a lounge. dining and kitchen area.

Lounge: large flat screen TV with DVD player, free access to Wi-Fi, large coffee table with a selection of games, books and DVD's, 2 reclining sofas and armchair.

Kitchen / Dining: well equipped kitchen with low level lighting, integrated washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven. Dining table with seating for up to 4 guests. 

Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with king sized bed with two large, split-rail wardrobes, with shelving, bedside tables and lamps.

Ensuite Shower Room: with underfloor heating, spacious walk-in shower with rainforest shower head and additional hand-held shower, heated towel rail, feature wall lights, illuminated mirror over wash hand basin.

Bedroom 2: with twin beds and two split rail wardrobes with shelving, bedside tables and lamps and dressing table.

Family Bathroom: bath with shower over, large illuminated mirror, hand wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside: Enclosed, private patio with hot tub and overhead canopy, dining table and chairs.

On-site leisure facilities:  include a gympool table, great lounge area with large flat screen TV, changing facilities with shower and WC. Outside there is a patio area with a large dining tableBBQ, sauna and an additional shared hot tub. Guests also have access to shared gardens in the grounds with children's play equipment. 

Parking: At the side of the property, there is parking in the shared driveway for up to two cars.

Beautiful cottage, very comfortable, well equipped with everything you need. Great location, easy walking into town and a short drive to the coast. A lovely welcome pack from the friendly owners. Perfect cottage for my elderly mother with limited mobility. Thanks very much and hope to return.
