Located in the pretty and quiet village of Warenford, The Mill House is just one of a collection of 4 beautiful cottages here. With a friendly pub/restaurant in the village, you won't have to go far to enjoy a delicious meal and as a guest at this cottage, you will also receive 10% off at The Purdy Lodge, just a short drive away. 

Sleeping up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, all with ensuite bath/shower rooms,  this cottage is ideal for larger families or a groups of friends looking to explore Northumberland's coast and countryside. With a spacious kitchen/dining area, you will have plenty of space to cook and enjoy meals together; why not try some world famous Craster Kippers for breakfast?!

There is a light and spacious living room with sofas and comfortable chairs for everyone to relax on and there is a large flat screen TV with Freeview for your entertainment.

Outside you will find good quality outdoor seating for 8 on a decked area which is perfectly secluded and tranquil, so ideal for a warm afternoon! In addition, there is also a shared swimming pool with a sauna on site, a small gym and a tennis court!

The picturesque village of Bamburgh is just 5 miles away, with its fantastic beach which is a hotspot for surfers, its iconic Castle just bursting with history and the RNLI Grace Darling Museum, this is the ideal offering for an exciting day out. Seahouses and Beadnell are both popular seaside villages, with their own unique offering for your holiday - boat trips to the Farne Islands from Seahouses and an array of watersports to get your heart racing on Beadnell Bay.

Travel further inland and you will find yet more to do, with the famous Chillingham Castle just a 15 minute drive away, you can enjoy a refreshing walk around the gardens, visit the Wild Cattle (the only one of its kind in the world!) or, if you are feeling brave they offer evening Ghost Tours! Ford and Etal, home to the Joicey family for over 100 years, is a great place to visit for a family day out. With a steam railway just waiting to take you on a tour of the estate and not one, but two castles - Ford & Etal! The Cheviot Hills are just under a 50 minute drive away and we have a special discount with North East Guides so that you can enjoy a guided walk along with breath-taking scenery.

Accommodation Summary:

Kitchen: seating at dining table for 8, 2 fridges and 1 freezer (under counter), electric hob, double oven, doors out to seating/dining area for 8, microwave, dishwahser, TV, utility room – washing machine, iron, ironing board. Gas central heating throughout. 

Living Room: dining table for 6, flat screen TV, Seating for 8, electric fire, occasional tables & lamps, DVD player and BT Internet.

First Floor Landing: full length mirror and Storage Cupboard.

First Double Room: TV, dressing table, wardrobe, drawers, ensuite bath/shower room

First Twin Room: small flat screen TV, drawers, mini wardrobe, bedside table, ensuite shower room.

Second Double: dressing table, bedside table, TV, mini wardrobe, ensuite shower room.

Second storage cupboard outside of larger twin room.

Second Twin: mirror, drawers, chair, wardrobe, Tv, bedside table, ensuite bath/shower room.

Outside: BBQ, parking, seating for 8 on decked area.

Indoor shared swimming pool, sauna, gym, tennis court (NB you will need to bring your own raquets and balls please).

Important Information regarding the facilities: shared indoor swimming pool - depth 4ft (children under 16 yrs must be accompanied by an adult who can swim), sauna, hard tennis court and gym (no children under 16 yrs allowed in gym) all open Mon-Thurs 9:00am - 6:30pm, Fri-Sun 10:00am - 5:00pm, closed each day between 2:00pm - 3:00pm, tennis court closed Sun.

Smashing cottage in a perfect location to visit all the main attractions. Great pub - the White Swan directly over the road served lovely food. Would definitely book this lovely cottage again.
