We are regular visitors to The Deeps, appreciating the private and peaceful setting and, as we're originally from the area, it's always nice seeing the hills of home. Yet another lovely stay, booked to recover from surgery. The weather was gloriously mixed, which made for some great rainbows, vast stormy skies and ended the week with plenty of Read moresunshine. the abundance of wildlife was nice to see! Slight issue with the property not being hoovered this time (it's usually spotless), but appreciate this may have been due to illness/unforeseen circumstances. Some useful info: The Deeps is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Tim the caretaker empties the bins on Tuesday mornings and cuts/strims the grass in the immediate and surrounding area on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (the gate is left open throughout these days, which is useful to know if you're visiting with a dog). Another excellent visit to the Deeps. Stay for: The wonderful views, peace and quiet, abundant wildlife, space/cleanliness/functionality, excellent base for day trips, but a great location in itself to spend a week. Our Corgi loves the paddock! Leave: Only because it's time to go home. Looking forward to visiting again hopefully next year
