Station Cottage in the heart of the popular seaside villages of Seahouses, within a few metres of the beach, bustling harbour and all the restaurants, friendly pubs and a great range of shops.

This cottage has it all! Plenty of room for all the family or a group of friends to spread out and relax with great facilities to make for a memorable holiday. There is a comfortable lounge with a large TV and access to Netflix, plus an additional lounge/dining/family area with a TV, DVD player, Xbox 360 and PS2, The spacious, modern kitchen is fully equipped and there are 3 lovely bedrooms and an attractive, modern family bathroom. Outside, you have so much space with a huge, enclosed garden with bench style seating and dining furniture. Having this space means that you, the children and dogs can play or relax after a day out exploring this beautiful area’s many local attractions and dine outdoors. Guests also have use of the extra long garage which is accessible from the kitchen to store bicycles, diving gear, surfboards and golf bags and there is also a pool table, table tennis, air hockey and a dart board to have some fun, family tournaments on!

The cottage is nice and central so that means organising boat trips to the Farne Islands couln’t be easier and you can easily reach Bamburgh’s magnificient castle, glorious beach and pretty village via the stunning coastal path, or simply for more shops, great restaurants and cafes, not to mention the Grace Darling Museum. Walking in the other direction, you will reach Beadnell village with its fabulous beach, bay and harbour and views towards Dunstanburgh Castle. Sample the delights of the 2 excellent pub/restaurants both family and dog friendly or, try the smart Bistro and patisserie before heading back.

Nearby, you have Alnwick Castle (of Hogwart’s fame) and The Alnwick Garden (under 30 mins), as well as the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, (35 mins) and Rothbury for Cragside House and Gardens (45 mins), all easily reached by car from Seahouses so, you will all have plenty to explore during your holiday at Station Cottage.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

It was a lovely welcoming property to stay at and very well locate right on the doorstep of the town and surrounding areas. The property caters very well for both Children and dogs. Would certainly recommend and stay here again.

Excellent cottage, very clean and spacious, everything youd need and more. The location is very central, all you want within Seahouses is just a short walk away. The fully enclosed back garden is ideal for keeping the dog in as well as playing family games. The garage games room is amazing, just what you need when the weather is poor. Great place.

This property is lovely, with everything you or your family could possibly need. The location is perfect. It is a short walk to the beautiful beach, harbour and a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants in Seahouses. What an amazing cottage. We have stayed here 3 times now and love it. Really well equipped, well decorated and spotless, there are 1 double, 1 twin and single good sized bedrooms, living room, dining room with extension and a games room in what was the garage. Lovely garden as well. Very handy for Seahouses with its shops, restaurants and bars. CarRead more parking for 2 cars made easier this year as the driveway entrance is wider. A seriously fab house! Garden completely enclosed and safe for the dog which was my main concern. Beautifully clean and fully equipped house in a great location. Games room an added bonus which we used a lot. You seriously wont find a better rental property and I would definately recommend to family and friends

Absolutely beautiful best we've ever stayed in location fantastic ,garden a bonus lots of things for kids to do if rainy days like air hockey table table tennis. The cottage was so homely will definitely return.

An excellent property, the photos do not do it justice! Larger than expected with an added bonus of a downstairs loo! There is everything you need for a family holiday! The games room is huge and if the weather was bad ( it wasn't !) would keep younger family members entertained. Bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of storage. A few minutes walk Read moreinto Seahouses. The parking was tight for our 2 cars however once parked we didn't need to use them again! We have already booked for next year ! Hide

This is the nicest cottage I have had the pleasure of holidaying in. It had everything needed for a great week. Definitely be going back. The best place & all amenities on your doorstep.

Superb, well equipped house. Lovely secure garden for the dogs - the owner even had towels and bowls for the dogs and spare poo bags. Location was excellent as you could walk everywhere in Seahouses. Boat trip to the Farne Island well worthwhile. The owner left lovely welcome pack also.

This is a fabulous cottage in a fabulous location. The house is beautifully appointed with a very welcoming atmosphere, all the furniture is high quality and well maintained. We would highly recommend staying there and would most definitely consider returning.

Really beautiful and very very well equipped cottage, the owner supplied everything needed, didn't need to take anything, it is a very well kept cottage and the garden came in really handy in keeping the 4 legged guest contained. Would highly recommend. 10/10

Fantastic cottage, weve been to a good few cottages now since we got our 2 boys ( frenchies) by far this has been the best yet great location amazing rear garden for us and our 2 boys the welcome pack was amazing lots of goodies to get you started very comfortable and homely plenty room for a big family we only used the master bedroom plenty towelsRead more and hangers so close to town with lots of nice shops,Chinese was disappointing will deffo be back next year Lot of thanks Alex,Helen,Buddy & Baxter Hide

We had a 5 night stay at the cottage and would definitely recommend. It was clean, spacious, extremely well-equipped, tastefully furnished and very homely. The location was perfect and off-street parking was an added bonus. We enjoyed a few evenings playing darts and pool and for those families with children Im sure the games consoles would be a weRead morelcome treat! Lovely home from home with lots of lovely touches including a welcome pack containing a bottle of wine, 4 pints of milk some bread and biscuits. Exactly as described and would definitley go back. Central location for shops and restaurants/pubs and a short walk to either beach depending if you wanted to head to Beadnell or Bamburgh.

This is our third stay at Station Cottage. Property at each visit has been clean and well presented . Clear written instructions on how to use cooker, etcsmall point but important to me. A comfortable, well equipped house in a great location. All the shops just a minute away that cater for all your needs & the coastal path & beach 5 minutes, couldnt ask for more.
