Great base for getting to lots of places if you are looking for a quiet relaxed location. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped and spacious for the five guests it advertises can sleep there. I would certainly book it again.

It was a great little cottage, that is quite remote. We were happy with that generally but you need to be prepared p are to travel if you want to eat out, especially with dogs. Late check in time made it trickier on the great night. Otherwise, it's very comfortable and had everything we needed. The main neighbours were sheep but everyone we saw wasRead more very friendly. Great location for visiting sights around Durham and Northumberland. Would recommend! Hide

This cottage could be a bit of a squeeze for five adults but it is fine for three or four adults or a family of up to five. It is .very well equipped and comfortable. It is a bit out of the way and it takes about half an hour to get anywhere by car, except Blanchland itself which is worth a visit. Some may actually prefer a remote location and it sRead moreuited us fine. The bathroom facilities are quite flexible with one combined bathroom and toilet and a separate shower room and a downstairs toilet. Hide

Nice cottage in a lovely area. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. We did struggle with the door lock at first but soon got the hang of it. Unfortunately downstairs smelled very strongly of dog, which was somewhat understandable since this is a dog friendly property, but could have been better with air freshener and open windows. The showerRead more cubicle could also have been a little cleaner and benefited from a quick clean before use. Would recommend to people who want to holiday with dogs. Hide
