Delighted with the cottage, just refurbished in many parts. Lots of space. Very clean throughout. Very well equipped cottage, extra amenities brilliant. We will definitely consider coming back and will recommend to family and friends. Plenty of parking, wonderful welcome. We ordered our shopping to be delivered. We used the swimming pool facilities, which was a lovely treat. The cottage is spacious comfy and extremely well equipped. We took the train from Berwick to Edinburgh for a day out at the castle and Scottish Museum. We also recommend the boat trips around the Farne Islands departing from Seahouses. For horse riding we went on a hack at Townfoot Riding Stables at Shilbottle, lovely horses and staff, extremely helpful, lovely countryside hack. Bamburgh Castle interesting and right next to the lovely beach. Alnwick Castle and Gardens were a fab day out, if the weather is good the gardens are super for kids.
