Clashope Cottage - flawless! Wonderful, quiet location 5 mins drive to Seahouses and Bamburgh. Most bedrooms en-suite. Beautiful kitchen/diner and cosy living room. The owner and Cottages In Northumberland are extremely helpful. Parking for two cars on site. Loads to do in the area, you can't get bored especially if you like walking, spectacular beaches and cosy welcoming pubs and restaurants.
Loved this property. We stayed over Christmas. A five minute drive to Seahouses or Bamburgh - a longer, beautiful walk over fields and across the road directly on to the beach. There is a wonderful view from every window at the back of the house. The kitchen has doors out on to the garden - we loved the nut house! A lovely log burning stove in the kitchen and a lovely long table for entertaining. Every appliance, cutlery and crockery provided. Bedrooms beautiful, warm and mainly all have en-suite. Master bedroom is stunning with a fabulous view. The owner had thought of everything in her welcome pack and the property was set up for Xmas with tree and the owners's beautiful handmade decorations on it. Emma is always on hand should you need anything. Great that the property is also pet friendly as it's the perfect location for your dog/s. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Very well equipped with careful thought given to minute details. Beautifully presented in terms of decor and everything in good working order. Outstanding level of information provided for use of appliances, local facilities, dining, tourist attractions. Overwhelming welcome pack left by the owner - Many Thanks for this much appreciated. Perfect getaway location, comfortable, relaxing within walking distance of Seahouses, Bamburgh and the beautiful beach which is hard to beat in any overseas location. A beautiful cottage, well decorated and laid out, attention to detail to be highly commended, pristine cleanliness, comfortable, very well equipped, we had a very pleasurable and relaxed stay. We visited Bamburgh Castle, and the village bought quality meat at Carter's Butchers and had lunch at the Copper Kettle, dined at the Potted Lobster, Spice House, walked along the beach to Seahouses and had fish and chips at Neptunes a popular local fish restaurant. The area means a lot to us as a family having lived there for many years, and is not to be underestimated for it's outstanding natural beauty and varied local attractions. We very much look forward to visiting again.

I've stayed in a my fair share of self-catering establishments over the years and I have to say that they vary a lot. Most are reasonably well appointed and it's unusual to find serious faults with any of them. Clashope, however, is a class above the rest.
I have stayed in many splendid locations in Northumberland but I have no hesitation in highly recommending Clashope. I doubt you will find many better than this.
