Cottage is large, beautifully & beds very comfortable. Lovely views & walks right from cottage. Kitchen is well appointed with plates (nothing for kids), saucepans etc & there is a welcome pack. It is very rural, so be prepared to travel. BUT: 5pm arrival is vary late. 1st thing we had to do was buy hand soap, cloths, binbags & washing up liquid foRead morer kitchen! Cottage is only superficially clean & there are cleaning jobs for guests to do before leaving - think cleaners only change beds! Hide

The kitchen does have a lot of equipment, although fridge too small for 6 adults. We didn't have a teatowel and there were no oven gloves ..... simple essentials, I would have thought?! We were left some complimentary fresh ground coffee, but the cafetiere didn't work. The grill function on the oven didn't work either. The central heating in the biRead moreg bedroom with en-suite at the back of the Barn didn't work, maybe it wasn't switched on, but most of radiators have wooden covers so??? Hide
