Beech Cottage is a very comfortable cottage which is well equipped and tastefully decorated. Our dog was welcome too with balls and poo bags provided! We loved cooking on the Aga and it warmed the whole house. We visited some fabulous beaches- Ross Sands, in particular, is beautiful and the views towards Holy Island are lovely. At the right time, you can see seals in abundance near the pylons there. Bamburgh Castle and the Grace Darling Museum are also both worth a visit.....and for miniature railway lovers, Ford and Etal villages just over the A1 are good to visit. The Mizen Head in Bamburgh serves a good dinner and our favourite pub by the sea is The Ship Inn at Low Newton. For book lovers, go to Barter Books in Alnwick.....dogs allowed and there is a good cafe there.

Stayed at Beech Cottage for a week. Lovely quaint cottage in a very quiet location about 5-10 mins from Bamburgh Castle. Cottage has every convenience you need for a week stay and is decorated in full country style with a great Aga. It is ideally suited to couples on a romantic break. Its Pet friendly and they provided a goodie bag for our pet. Lovely stay and highly recommend it.
