No.3 Bamburgh Gate is a comtemporary and stylish, single-storey, holiday cottage for two and it is dog friendly so, you can bring your four legged friend on holiday too! It is the third and most recently developed conversion of a set of three former agricultural buildings. Smartly clad in black shiplap boards, it has the look of a Scandinavian summerhouse and is just as cosy and warm inside. It has an open plan lounge/kitchen with reclaimed beams, one double bedroom and a large shower room.

Once inside, with unspoilt open views south over open countryside, No. 3 Bamburgh Gate is set in truly relaxing surroundings, yet the bustling Bamburgh village with its excellent range of shops and restaurans, its breathtaking iconic castle and beautiful, golden sandy beach are just 10 minutes away by car. Thanks to two sets of large French doors, the cottage is flooded with natural light - bringing a spacious and open feel to the property – lie in bed and count the sheep!

With a cosy wood burning stove set on a reclaimed natural stone hearth in the spacious lounge, a private, enclosed patio garden, Wi-Fi*, (please see Accommodation Summary), a walk-in shower room, modern kitchen facilities and private parking, you will feel completely at home in this cosy, Northumberland cottage.

The village of Lucker, the nearest village to Bamburgh Gate (1 mile) now boasts a village shop, gastro pub, pizzeria/creperie and a beauty spa with a pool!

Enter from the enclosed, patio through French Doors into the open plan lounge and kitchen area.

Kitchen Area -  with a breakfast bar sytle table and chairs, fridge, electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle and cafetiere.

Lounge Area -  with a sofa for two, a bespoke glass top coffee table plus side tables and lamps, a flat screen TV with Freview and an attractive wood burning stove.

Bedroom - Double bed overlooking the bedroom's double French windows, with bedside drawers and lamps, a wardobe and chest of drawers.

Shower Room - With walk-in shower, modern wash basin with mirror over and WC.

Outside - Enclosed patio area overlooking beautiful countryside with small bistro table and two chairs, a raised flower bed and garden ornaments.

Parking - There is off-road parking for one car in the sahredd parking courtyard behind the cottage.

3 Bamburgh Gate is all it says in the blurb and more. We have often stayed in rental properties and this is right up at the top of our list of places we'd happily visit again. It's very comfortable indeed - lovely to sink into that sofa! The shower room is great - I wish we could have a nice a one at home. That plus a well-equipped kitchen, log fire and lovely private area to sit out in made for an extremely relaxing weekend. An excellent, extremely comfortable and well-appointed place to stay. Highly recommended.

Clean, modern and well equipped. Everything spotless. There was nothing we needed which we couldn't find. 3 Bamburgh Gate is lovely. A great position for Bamburgh, Lucker and Seahouses. Quiet position even though it is close to A1, but this makes the cottage easy to find. We have a dog and the beaches at Bamburgh were fantastic, open space, clean and virtually empty. We ate out in Lucker (The Apple Core), and at Seahouses ( Elan Pizzeria and The Spice Lounge (Indian) and could recommend them all. The restaurant at Purdey Lodge was recommended but we didn't get there on this occasion - will definitely try next time. All in all good value for money in a convenient and well equipped cottage. Well worth a visit.
