Bamburgh village, its beautiful beach and iconic castle are just 10 minutes away by car - making 2 Bamburgh Gate the ideal haven for any couple on the hunt for the perfect Northumberland holiday. Thanks to large windowed doors, the cottage is flooded with natural light - bringing a spacious and open feel to the property - with breath-taking views of the region to boot.
 
With a cosy wood burning stove set on reclaimed natural stone in the spacious lounge, a private, enclosed patio garden, Wi-Fi, a walk-in shower room, modern kitchen facilities and private parking, you’ll be right at home in this cosy Northumberland cottage.
 
As with its sister cottage, 1 Bamburgh Gate, you won’t need to go far to find fresh food. Guests have access to a herb and vegetable garden (with an honesty box), as well as fresh farm eggs and even free range chickens available to buy. On arrival, you’ll get a welcome pack filled with toiletries and sparkling wine to help you settle in.
 
The village of Lucker, the nearest village to Bamburgh Gate (1 mile) now boasts a village shop, gastro pub, pizzeria/creperie and a beauty spa with a pool.

Accommodation Summary:

Bedroom Area: Set on a small mezzanine with double bed and bedside drawers and lamps.

Lounge Area: with leather sofa, coffe table, * wood burning stove, French doors leading out to the garden. TV with DVD player and Wi-Fi.

Dining Table with seating for two.

Kitchen Area: with fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere.

Shower Room: With large, walk in shower, wash basin with illuminated mirror over, heated towel rail and WC.

There is a tall kitchen cabinet converted into a wardrobe with hanging and shelves.

* Please note: Price includes bed linen, heating and electric and hot water. (*NB Although electric heating is included, logs for stove are not).

Very clean. Everything we needed. Lovely setting. We really loved our stay here. Great for exploring the area. A fantastic little cottage for two.

Cottage was very well maintained and presented. Easy to find and excellent location for the Northumberland coast. Very dog friendly especially in Bamburgh. The Victoria Hotel is highly recommended for a meal.
