We enjoyed a lovely week at Beechcroft Cottage. It was spotlessly clean and catered for all our needs. The starter pack was very thoughtful which included a bottle of wine and even treats for our 2 dogs.Yum!The owners had prepared the open fire and all we had to do was put a match to it.Plenty coal, logs and kindling provided. The cottage was very cosy. Both front and back gardens are enclosed and safe for the dogs. There was a driveway to the side of the cottage which was excellent,as the village has limited parking spaces. The large garage was useful for storage. All in all,a fantastic week was spent in this Home from Home. We managed to take a boat trip to the Farne Islands where the birdlife was phenomenal. The whole area is packed with ancient religious sites, castles and places of interest. The local community are very friendly with a variety of cosy pubs and restaurants, most dog friendly. We cant wait for our next visit.

We stayed at this property in November for a few days with friends. On arrival the house was very clean and the log fire was set ready to be lit. The log fire was lovely and made the house feel very cosy on cold November nights. We also really appreciated the welcome pack! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The beds were really comfortable and a good nights sleep was had by all..
The location of the property is ideal being very close to the centre of Seahouses and also the harbour. We were able to park both cars at the side of the house which is a definite bonus as parking is at a premium in Seahouses . The location was also great for exploring this part of the Northumberland Coast including Bamburgh, Beadnell and Low Newton by the Sea..
Following the recommendations of the owners we checked out some of the local pubs and restaurants and found them all to be very good, particularly the Schooner pub which is the closest to the house..
All in all we had a lovely few days holiday and will definitely be back!

This cottage was perfect for our family of 5 plus our dog. The welcome basket was a lovely touch as was the wood and coal for the fire. We will definitely book this one again as we're in Seahouses twice a year. Thankyou for your hospitality.
