Go Ape, Morpeth
Go Ape at Matfen, Newcastle, is the first Go Ape centre to be built within the grounds of a stately country house, Matfen Hall. It is built on deciduous trees, 30ft-high in the treetops, so you will have fun flying through branches and swinging in the trees! You will be able to soak up all the glorious scenery here whilst trying your hand at some zip-lining and take on the tree-top challenge. It can get busy in the summer months, but there is nothing like the sound of laughter and adventure echoing around you whilst you build up the courage to take a leap! For those who don’t feel like being up high, there is a 27-hole golf course, a picnic area and a café where you can get some food or a hot coffee while the others play.
