Well equipped and comfortable cottage. Really reasonably priced. Enjoyed the location as not stayed in this area before. Co-op is very handy although expensive. Lots of flooded roads around Wooler when we stayed but joined the local Facebook page which provided handy updates and guidance.

A lovely cottage, in the perfect location. Clean, comfortable, has everything you'd need, and a lovely garden. Shops, pubs, cafes and supermarket a couple of minutes' walk away. We ate at the Black Bull (cheap, filling and tasty pub grub), and Milan (good Italian food, huge helpings, reasonably priced). Best outings, Chillingham Castle, wonderfullyRead more quirky, and Ad Gefrin, just down the road, Anglo-Saxon museum combined with a gin and whisky distillery, believe it or not! A great holiday. The cottage had everything we needed, very clean and well equipped. The little cupboard in the front room filled with games and leaflets on where to visit was a great addition. A reasonably-priced cottage in an excellent location for seeing Northumberland. A very handy CO-OP around the corner was very useful.

The cottage was lovely & cosy. It was the best equiped place we've stayed in. The cupboard in the livingroom of books, puzzles & games was a great bonus. It was well located with a corner shop round the corner & centrally located for exploring Northumbria. We were welcomed with a cake on arrival & milk in the fridge which was a thoughtful touch. ThRead moree garden was quite overgrown & bbq unusable, but it didn't impact on our stay. Hide

A lovely clean and comfy cottage well situated to explore Northumberland. Shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Cake and milk on arrival was a lovely surprise. Garden is quite secluded but not secure - had to keep our dog on a lead.
