The property was lovely and no complainants about that but i do feel the owners should be a bit more honest about the location in their wording. It is remote, a mile off the B road to Bamburgh. Everything is at least 2 miles walk on narrow winding lanes with often fast cars ' Pub and shop within walking distance' is not very inviting. The cottage is perfect for two, very quiet location and yet only a couple of miles from the A1 so easy to get to Berwick, Lindisfarne or Alnwick. The on site manager was very helpful when there was a problem with the tv and got it fixed quickly. Parking is right outside, which is always useful.

Good location for exploring Northumberland and a bonus to have a hot tub to help relax in after a day sight seeing. Very helpful Gabby who manages the place and was very welcoming.

The cottage is 'bijou' - suitable for single or double occupancy. The bathroom has underfloor heating a walk in shower. It is located 5 minutes drive from Bamburgh which has nice pubs, a castle and museum dedicated to Grace Darling. A few miles north along the A1 lies the mystical island of Lindisfarne.

Tulip is a very well appointed cottage with great extras like cotton wool pads and toilet rolls. We needed to spend more time in Northumbria to see so much more on offer. We saw the iconic places as we only had a week. It was great
