Pile the coffee table high with treats or lay out a board game and begin a family tournament. Bright and fresh, with a fabulous feature wall, the kitchen is a beautiful space in which to cook up a storm. The bistro-style table and breakfast bar are great for gathering around with a warming mug of coffee in the morning, whilst the dining table is suited to formal meals and the garden table is perfect for sundowner feasts. Lovely cottage just 10 minutes walk to the centre of Alnwick, 5 minutes to Barter Books and with lots of wonderful things to do locally. Helpful responsive owners for a couple of minor queries we had. We would go again very happily.

We had a brilliant week at toms cottage, it is well located, close to amenities including a co op, supermarket and fish and chip shop. Walking distance to Alnwick town and a beautiful bookshop where you can have a lovely lunch. The pictures of the cottage don't do the inside of the house justice, downstairs is spacious and bigger than it looks in tRead morehe pics. The kitchen is well equipped and we were left a lovely welcome pack. Loved the bath! Beautifully clean, highly recomend! Hide

Toms cottage is in a very central area. The bedroom with 2 single beds is more suitable for children than 2 adults space is very limited. The house was clean and had all the facilities we required for our stay. We had a very enjoyable stay at the house and visiting all the historic sites and surrounding area.

Lovely house on quiet street with enclosed yard. Dog friendly but be warned you have to go and find grass or walk elsewhere. Fabulous central location, well equipped and well presented house. Loved our stay would go back but without my dogs.

This could have been a straight positive review. Things sometimes happen out of owners control, but not appreciating that a night with the internal intruder alarm bleeping and every day/night with the boiler needing refilling to work is not what I would expect whilst stubbornly not being open to any rate compensation. Had a fabulous long weekend away with some friends and our dogs. The cottage is in a fabulous location with lots nearby to do in Alnwick or visiting the many nearby beaches after a short drive. It is also furnished very nicely and there are lots of board games to try on those cosy nights in. Would thoroughly enjoy staying again and would certainly Read morerecommend to anyone looking to stay in Alnwick. Hide

A very nice cottage that's ideal for a couple or a family with young children. Located within easy walking distance of the town, there is also a Coop and convenience store within a very short walk. Parking is on the street outside but we never struggled to find a space.
