Overall we found Toms Cottage to be well presented, clean and well equipped. The shops, pubs and amenities of Alnwick are a short walk away and its a great base for exploring the Northumberland Coast. The cottage does need some maintenance in places, which we have made the owners aware of. However, as others have commented, the main gripe is not beRead moreing allowed to control the central heating - who on earth wants the heating on a full blast at 3.00am? Overall, we would recommend it though. Hide

Property has all the required equipment for your stay and only a 10 minute walk to Alnwick centre and local supermarkets etc, disappointed with the outlook of the property as basically it is the middle of a row of terraced houses.

Pleasant and comfy with everything that was needed. Would have been perfect if we had been allowed to operate (turn on) the central heating and if we had been able to get the oven to work. Einstein would have stuggled...........
