Really well equipped and comfortable cottage in a great location for exploring Northumberland. My husband has a disability and uses a mobility scooter and/or two sticks to get around. There is a ramp up to the front door and plenty of room inside to get around, with everything close to hand. Highly recommended!

Fantastic accommodation and owners who provided the best welcome pack I have ever had! Conveniently situated just a 15 minute walk to Alnwick town centre. Alnwick Castle & Gardens are a short 5 minute drive. Loved the beach at Alnmouth which is around 4 miles away. Everyone loved the reclining sofas and hot tub. We found the accommodation very hot Read moreeven with no heating on. Despite being next to the road we found this a tranquil place to stay with little noise heard from other guests. Hide

Beautiful cottage providing everything needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, only 1 slight issue, the hot tub controls were not always working properly and when we mentioned this to owners were told that unfortunately the warranty had run out but if we kept pressing the buttons they would work, this we did and eventually got it working properly.

The cottage was very comfortable and in first class condition (nearly new). Close to a main road, but this really wasn't apparent from inside the cottage. A welcome pack (eggs, bread, milk, coffee, tea and biscuits) was provided. Location sited us perfectly - around 2 minutes from the centre of Alnwick.

This cottage was the perfect base to explore Northumberland from. Close to the coastline we were able to have relaxed days out exploring the small seaside. Another day was spent visiting Lindisfarne, and another to Kielder Forest. The cottage was lovely to come back to, warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. The highlight was the hot tub, Read morewe wanted a really slow week away from everything and this helped us relax even more. The town of Alnwick is lovely too. Highly recommend! Hide
