Offering spellbinding rural views, this beautifully updated barn conversion makes a fantastic holiday home for four guests and features a relaxing wood burner and original exposed beams in a vaulted ceiling. Providing cosy, fresh and relaxing accommodation for families, couples and friends, the property is set on a working farm with horses, sheep, working dogs and a horse training arena. Surrounded by wonderful countryside, this tranquil retreat is particularly suitable for guests with horses – stabling and grazing can be arranged for up to four horses directly with the owner who also offers livery and horse training.

This refreshing, bright and airy property features a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with high ceilings, exposed beams, French doors, skylights and an array of original artwork. A cosy wood burner sits in the central floor-to-ceiling fireplace which divides the room. The relaxing lounge is a perfect space to unwind with a movie or a favourite book, while the delightful dining area is ideally situated close to the fully equipped kitchen. Exploring further, the barn conversion has a stylish bathroom and two light bedrooms decorated in warm neutral tones: a pretty twin room overlooks the training arena, and the king-size room features a large arched window overlooking the garden. Outside, the garden features stunning views towards the Cheviot Hills, and is enclosed by gates at each end. There are two lawn areas and a patio with outdoor furniture, ideal for dining alfresco.

The picturesque town of Wooler (5 miles) has an excellent choice of shops, pubs and restaurants and makes a great base for exploring the northern reaches of the beautiful Northumberland National Park. The stunning Northumberland Coast AONB is less than 20 miles away, and other local attractions include Chillingham Castle (3 miles), Alnwick Castle, the Alnwick Garden and Linhope Spout Waterfall (all within 14 miles).

This cottage was perfect for us and our dogs. Beautifully clean, warm and well equipped and the large enclosed garden gave us the confidence to let the dogs out without worrying about any escapes. The cottage is also ideally situated, quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of all routes within Northumberland. We have already recommended to friendRead mores and we will definitely return here. Perfect stay, close enough to local shops and easy driving to the coast. Lovely and quiet, had such a restful stay. Cottage clean and well equipped, comfy beds and hot shower. Quiet roads to give the dog a morning and evening walk

Wonderful cottage. Very well equipped and clean. Had everything we needed. We enjoyed seeing the horses in the nearby fields and going for walks in the beautiful countryside in the evenings. Very peaceful and a great location for visiting landmarks in the county. A wonderful introduction to Northumberland. Five stars!

Everything you need for a relaxing break. The spacious garden was great for our dogs secure & safe. Half an hour drive to most tourist hotspots. Would certainly recommend to family & friends.

The cottage is set in a peaceful location, yet only 30 mins drive from the beautiful coast so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. The cottage has everything you need including essentials like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc and the lovely welcome pack on arrival was most welcome. The cottage is very dog friendly with a fully enclosed gRead morearden to play in and walks from your door. The owners were lovely and friendly without been intrusive. We had a lovely 2weeks at the Toddles with our 2dogs exploring Northumberland. The cottage is light and airy and away from it all but with all the comforts from home. The garden is very secure for the dogs. A vast amount of amazing beaches are about 25/30mins away and walks in the moors and Cheviot hills are close by too. Not really anything near wRead moreithin walking distance and the nearest proper,big supermarket is abt 20mins away in Alnwick. Wooler has a few smaller supermarkets. Truly recommend. Hide

Returned from a great 1 week stay in Northumberland. The cottage was perfect. We traveled as 4 adults, 1 toddler and 3 dogs. The cottage had everything and more that we needed. Fantastic location to explore Northumberland. Would highly recommend and return for another stay in the future.

The Toddles sits in a lovely quiet setting very close to numerous historical sites . Plenty of dog walks around the estates visited and on the beautiful, clean expansive beaches. The cottage itself is charming and well fenced so dogs can roam in the garden very safely. The beds were comfortable and black out curtains effectively excluded light. The property is in a stunning location and it was a joy to watch the horses each morning. The welcome pack when we arrived was a nice touch. I did feel the cleanliness could have been a little better. I had to clean some of the plates and glasses, there were a few cobwebs about and I had to clean the toilet as it had not been done properly. We could not recommend the toddles enough. This was our first holiday with our dog, as she had previously been reactive following a dog attack. The setting gave us a perfect, quiet stay with plenty of secure space for her to explore whilst we relaxed in the sun! Lovely cottage clean and fully equipped and decorated to a high standard. Bed was really comfortable and the location was idyllic so peaceful and pretty, loved the horses and all the birds. Will definitely return if holidaying in the area again.

The accommodation and area was perfect for us. The silence is delightful. The only downfall for us was the lack of hot water for a bath as it was only warm. Also we found the sofas difficult to sit upright on. This did not deter us from having a wonderful break away from home.

Excellent we had a lovely week at the cottage. On arrival we found the accommodation to be clean and well equipped, we had two cots for our twin boys, and a bottle of wine in the fridge :). The accommodation is in a quiet location with fantastic views, well located for Wooller, with Alnwick and the stunning Northumberland coast line a short drive aRead moreway. Toddles is an excellent cottage in a rural , quiet location. The cottage is clean , comfortable , well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, lovely comfy sofas . The outside space is good with a table, bench and grass area. The coast is only half hour away for Bamburgh , Craster , Holy Island. Alnwick , Craigside 25 mins drive.

Fabulous cottage and great location. Lovely welcome treats which were most appreciated. Everything that you could want for a stay here and lovely pubs close by if you fancy going out for a meal. If you fancy an equestrian break it would be an ideal place to bring your horse, but your dogs will love it anyway!

The cottage was everything we wished for, so peaceful and quiet, only bird song. Fab location to go exploring the Cheviots and the Coast. Lots of information provided about local amenities and walks etc. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated, we had a very happy holiday .
