Beautiful seaside property in an excellent location next to the pier with glorious 180 degrees sea views and three balconies to enjoy them from. Perfect for a family or group of friends.

Stroll around the pier to the harbour where the fishing boats unload the daily catch, purchase the freshest seafood from the fish stall. Enjoy Little Shore beach for recreation or wildlife and explore the rock pools on the ‘jumpy’ shore, both adjacent to the house. Browse independent shops and the collection of retail ‘pod’s next to the harbour and sample the delights of local produce in the renowned restaurants. Enjoy a river walk to Warkworth to visit the medieval castle or the coastal path to Low Hauxley’s quiet beach. Take a boat trip to Coquet Island for the amazing birdlife and a visit to The Alnwick Gardens and Castle is a must.

The house sits above the original 19th-century lifeboat house and was rebuilt in 2020 with open-plan design and it has been stylishly furnished to a high standard. Access the house at the side of the property into a spacious hallway. Head into the lounge for ever-changing views facing east, west and north so you can take in spectacular sunrises and amazing sunsets. Spot numerous sea birds from any window and if you’re lucky, seals and pods of dolphins making occasional appearances at the harbour mouth. This is a wonderful place for all the family to gather with comfortable sofas to relax on and Smart TV. A couple of steps take you down to the spacious, open-plan kitchen/diner with underfloor heating. In the kitchen you’ve got everything you need to cook your meals with a Range style electric oven and gas hob, American-style fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, microwave and dishwasher or sit on the bar stools so you can chat to the cook with a glass of wine. In the dining area the dining table faces bi-folding doors leading out onto the main balcony so, you can dine indoors with the doors open, enjoying the views and then take your drinks outside. A door in the kitchen leads up two steps back to the hallway where you will find a separate WC and the games room with a pool table and dartboard. You can access the garage from here to store your bikes and surf gear and there is a utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading upstairs to the first floor, all bedrooms have fabulous sea views. The master super-king-size bedroom has the same fabulous views as the lounge with wall to wall windows and a private balcony where you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee. It has a Smart TV, stylish dressing room and en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath, separate shower and WC. The second bedroom has a double bed and its own balcony and there is a beautiful en-suite shower room and WC. The third bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room and WC and the fourth has a double bed and an en-suite shower room and WC.

Outside, there are three balconies, one large one on the ground floor and two on the first floor each with their own table and chairs perfect for more intimate dining and there is a walled picnic patio area to the side of the house with wonderful views of the pier. Parking is off-road for up five cars at the front of the house.

The property is spectacular and the owners are to be commended for how they have equipped and decorated the house. The welcome pack and flowers on arrival are a lovely touch. Would recommend the house and location to groups and families. Everything was just perfect - even the weather.

The house has the most amazing views! It was warm, comfortable and we felt very much at home. It has been tastefully decorated and furnished and there was equipment supplied for babies- cot, high chair, safety gates. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again. Just one little negative was the steps from the lounge to the Read morekitchen having a crawling 11 month old with us, but we managed and it certainly didn't spoil stay. We were very sad to leave! If you’re looking for a seaside holiday with a difference, visit Northumberland – a region brimming with beautiful golden, sandy beaches, rolling hills, craggy moorland, bustling market towns and fishing villages, and more castles than in any other county in England.

Situated in the North East of England, this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasts no less than 39 miles of unspoilt coastline to explore and a calendar packed with exhilarating water sports options. To indulge in a spot of surfing, kayaking or powerboating, take a trip to one of the many breath-taking Northumberland beaches - where dogs love a good walk and fresh local seafood is never far away.

Home to the awe-inspiring Cheviot Hills and the historical Hadrian’s Wall, the Northumberland National Park is renowned for its open spaces, award-winning Dark Skies and stunning rural backdrops - and is the least populated national park in Britain. Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys. If it’s history you’re looking for, the imposing Bamburgh Castle and the world-famous Alnwick Castle are undoubtedly worth a visit.

Alternatively, if you’re seeking the bright lights of a city adventure, Newcastle upon Tyne is the place to go. Here, you can experience world-class culture, outstanding attractions, superb shopping, impressive live shows, top entertainers and delicious cuisine in abundance.
