Beautiful seaside property in an excellent location next to the pier with glorious 180 degrees sea views and three balconies to enjoy them from. Perfect for a family or group of friends.

This fabulous home sits on the renowned Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a great base from which to explore. Sleeping eight guests over four bedrooms, each with their own en-suite, this contemporary home is perfect for families or groups of friends with a love for sand, sea and surf. Three fabulous balconies offer terrific, panoramic views across the harbour, and from the lounge, you can spy both the sunrise, with a mug of coffee, and the sunset, with a tipple in hand.

Sitting above the original 19th-century lifeboat house, this waterside bolthole exudes charm, character and cool style. Creating a hub of the home is the open-plan living space where natural light floods inside for a fresh, tranquil ambience. Fill the cupboards with provisions and make use of the many amenities available to cook up a storm for your party. With ample workspace, get extra hands onboard to chop and slice at the island, also a great place for a morning coffee. Pile the dining table high with serving dishes and glasses of bubbly for a sociable dinner and throw open the bi-fold doors so you can head straight out for an al fresco tipple after dinner, or head to the patio for gorgeous views of the pier. Stepping up to the lounge, marvel at this gorgeous space, perfect for relaxing in. Continue your night in the games room before heading to the first-floor bedrooms, two of which boast private balconies and all of which are beautifully fresh and light. There is off-road parking for five cars.

Less than a mile from the local beach, grab your buckets and spades and head to Amble Links via the harbour where you can pick up some picnic goodies for the day. Wander 2 miles along the coast to Low Hauxley Beach, often a quieter option, where you can see remains of a forest. Bamburgh (26 miles) is a great destination for a day out with its castle, golf course, beach and the Grace Darling Museum.

Please note there is a refundable £200 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

If you’re looking for a seaside holiday with a difference, visit Northumberland – a region brimming with beautiful golden, sandy beaches, rolling hills, craggy moorland, bustling market towns and fishing villages, and more castles than in any other county in England.

Situated in the North East of England, this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasts no less than 39 miles of unspoilt coastline to explore and a calendar packed with exhilarating water sports options. To indulge in a spot of surfing, kayaking or powerboating, take a trip to one of the many breath-taking Northumberland beaches - where dogs love a good walk and fresh local seafood is never far away.

Home to the awe-inspiring Cheviot Hills and the historical Hadrian’s Wall, the Northumberland National Park is renowned for its open spaces, award-winning Dark Skies and stunning rural backdrops - and is the least populated national park in Britain. Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys. If it’s history you’re looking for, the imposing Bamburgh Castle and the world-famous Alnwick Castle are undoubtedly worth a visit.

Alternatively, if you’re seeking the bright lights of a city adventure, Newcastle upon Tyne is the place to go. Here, you can experience world-class culture, outstanding attractions, superb shopping, impressive live shows, top entertainers and delicious cuisine in abundance.
