The Moorings is ideally located in Beadnall with stunning sea views from the lounge window. It is 5 minutes walk to a beautiful sandy beach and surrounded by public footpaths for walking. The house is well equipped and very clean. The beds are comfortable. The main living area is upstairs and dogs are only allowed downstairs. The showers are a littRead morele temperamental due to the fall in pressure. The bunk room is tiny and access is through the triple room. However, 9 of us managed very well! Hide

Lovely sea views, and Beadnell harbour and beach just around the corner. Bedroom layout downstairs isn't great, but if you are all the same family sharing, it's not a huge problem

Home to the awe-inspiring Cheviot Hills and the historical Hadrian’s Wall, the Northumberland National Park is renowned for its open spaces, award-winning Dark Skies and stunning rural backdrops - and is the least populated national park in Britain. Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys. If it’s history you’re looking for, the imposing Bamburgh Castle and the world-famous Alnwick Castle are undoubtedly worth a visit.
