This was a very comfortable cottage with lots of space for children to play and adults to move around. The location was remote but convenient for Bamburgh and Seahouses. It was well equipped and there were foods basics and cleaning materials left. The support from holiday cottages and the local people in resolving the storm issues we had was great.Read more We will return. Hide

A well equipped and comfortable cottage sleeping up to 8 people in a great location for exploring the Bamburgh area. Accommodation is large enough to enable all of the party to relax in their own space, but with the communal areas being big enough to allow shared activities.

The Granary was perfect in terms of both accommodation and location. We enjoyed the Granary and village of Bamburgh that we did little other than take long walks on the beach and relax with a book. It was the perfect break that we had been looking forward to. We hope to return very soon.

Attractive property, clean and well maintained, good sized rooms (especially the kitchen and living room). The Granary Cottage suited our mix of age groups, was in attractive rural setting yet close enough to local services. As a group we tended to visit historical & National Trust sites plus bird-watching around the coast.

The cottage met all our expectations, every area was spotlessly clean. The cottage was well equipped. There was a really good selection of games and maps etc in the sitting room to enhance our visit. The cottage was in a quiet location which suited our needs as we had 2 very young children with us. The garden was enclosed and safe suitable for chilRead moredren and dogs. It was well maintained and very well equipped. It was well situated for the coast and general area we wanted to visit. Our family are already considering booking again. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Granary, Bamburgh for a double birthday weekend celebration. We felt immediately at home there. A wonderful, large space for family - cosy with the woodburner and a fantastic kitchen - many cooks were at work! It was very clean to come into. A marvellous selection of DVD's and games to while away the time with Read moreon days of very bad weather. We however enjoyed the local walking - so accessible from The Granary. We would be delighted to return another time for a family gathering. For the number of people it accommodates I felt what we paid for the time we were in residence was very reasonable. Many, many thanks to the owner. Hide
