We returned yesterday from Seahouses, I am sorry to say very disappointed with the standard of the cottage. I have attached some photographs in a zip file showing some of the faults. The cottage is both perfect in you have everything you need and also perfectly clean. The information booklet was second to none it had all the information you need. A good break in a lovely cottage. Ideal for a couple. Close to all village amenities. Some outdoor space would have been good to have especially in the warmer months. Parking can be interesting to say the least but we managed alright.

Lovely cottage. Very near the harbour, shops and pubs. One being just at the end of the street. The cottage was comfy and internally had everything we needed. Unfortunately I hadn't realised there was no outside area at the property. I sat down for 5 minutes in the sunshine and was asked to move even though there was no one staying in the property who would use the seating. Hide

Cottage is lovely and comfortable, parking is probably a nightmare in season, but we found it fine. Great pub within 50 yards and access to the harbour and walks on the doorstep, we would return some time in the future.

A wonderful cottage in an ideal location. It has a really homely feel as soon as you walk in. Ideal for my elderly mum, as no stairs and a separate walk-in shower. Log fire was lovely; good idea to take your own logs and kindling, as one night's worth is provided and extra logs are quite expensive locally. Mum and I would definitely book again. Well located cottage near the picturesque harbour of Seahouses. A very handy location for exploring the beaches, castles, islands and towns of Northumberland. We liked Seahouses but were disappointed by some aspects of the cottage such as parking difficulties and the blocked plugholes in the shower and sink.
