This cosy, traditional fisherman’s cottage all on one level has been beautifully renovated and is situated in the old quarter of popular Seahouses only a few steps from the harbour front and all the village shops.

The Fisherman’s Cottage has a spacious open plan living room with wood burning stove and modern kitchen. With full central heating plus double glazing making it a cosy getaway for two all year round. The cottage is located on a quiet cul de sac with parking available on the road outside. Access to the cottage is via the rear door in the shared enclosed courtyard.

The Fisherman’s Cottage is centrally located within the village and close to the harbour where boat trips leave for The Farne Islands, the most famous sea bird sanctury in the British Isles as well as having a large colony of Grey and Atlantic Seals, so be sure to include this in your holiday plans

With lots of tea rooms, friendly pubs, restaurants and take aways in the village, lovely long coastal walks and even an 18 hole golf course you will never be short of something to do !!

Beautifully decorated cottage with a bath and separate shower. Lots of hot water and plenty of radiators meant the cottage was always warm. All the kitchen equipment you could need is supplied, with more than enough crockery and cutlery. There is one hand towel and one bath towel per person, so worth taking additional towels if you like a big bath Read moresheet. A heated towel rack in the bathroom meant they dried well between uses. We had a lovely week in this character cottage. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is in a very central location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the sea front.

We enjoyed our stay at Fishermans Cottage it was as described, it was clean and had a good level equipment. There were a couple of issues, firstly there was no Wi-Fi as mobile coverage is patchy Wi-fi these days is essential, we had an aborted visit to Alnwick Gardens, which would have been avoided if we could have check the web site. Lovely cottage tidy and clean. Recycling is not clear and putting the bins out is not what you expect. But a very nice place and we would return.It is expensive but we love the location for our golf holiday.

Clean, good quality furnishing,warm, plenty of cutlery etc. Bathroom had high standard of cleanliness. Well positioned for harbour and village. Within easy reach of many historical attractions. Peace and quiet was important to us and we had that in abundance.

Cottage was cosy and in a convenient location near the beach. We enjoyed running on the beaches, spending a lazy afternoon reading and drinking tea in Barters Books. Lovely meal at the Jolly Fisherman in Craster and another at the tree-house restaurant in Alnwick castle. Very relaxing and peaceful stay, just what we were after!
