Cannot fault our stay at Bridgend Farm. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, very clean and great facilities. Location was perfect, it was approximately 30mins drive from everything we wanted to visit. The owner provided helpful information before our arrival too. Would stay again!

A super house for a group of friends or two families, both in terms of facilities and comfort, and convenient location to Wooler. The en-suites to each room were so convenient, lovely bedding and towels, and everything was very clean and in good condition.

Lovely housein a great central location for both Wooler and the wider county attractions. Every room has its own character and every room was as good as the last - no fear of getting the tired room As can so often be the case because In this property there isnt one. Very much recommended - we loved it.

The cottage was immaculate, was perfect having an en-suite shower / bathroom in each bedroom. The location was brilliant, 30 mins or so away from all main attraRead morections but walking distance to the village, the Italian and the wine bar are great! Also good for cycling with some excellent tracks. Helen the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We cooked an array of meals whilst there and found the kitchen to be fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. There is a co-op in the village only a few mins walk away also. The milk bar next door does great milkshakes and lunches. As a family of 6 adults and 2 children this location and home was spot on! A brilliant place with a beautiful big garden and lots of outdoor space. Well definitely be back!!

This is a lovely house in a pretty village on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. It's great place to stay if you have children as there's a huge garden. There are lots of great places to visit nearby and we discovered that all the towns, beaches, castles and gardens that we wanted to see were less than 30 minutes away.

If you’re looking for a seaside holiday with a difference, visit Northumberland – a region brimming with beautiful golden, sandy beaches, rolling hills, craggy moorland, bustling market towns and fishing villages, and more castles than in any other county in England.

Situated in the North East of England, this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasts no less than 39 miles of unspoilt coastline to explore and a calendar packed with exhilarating water sports options. To indulge in a spot of surfing, kayaking or powerboating, take a trip to one of the many breath-taking Northumberland beaches - where dogs love a good walk and fresh local seafood is never far away.

Home to the awe-inspiring Cheviot Hills and the historical Hadrian’s Wall, the Northumberland National Park is renowned for its open spaces, award-winning Dark Skies and stunning rural backdrops - and is the least populated national park in Britain. Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys. If it’s history you’re looking for, the imposing Bamburgh Castle and the world-famous Alnwick Castle are undoubtedly worth a visit.

Alternatively, if you’re seeking the bright lights of a city adventure, Newcastle upon Tyne is the place to go. Here, you can experience world-class culture, outstanding attractions, superb shopping, impressive live shows, top entertainers and delicious cuisine in abundance.
