Relax in style and comfort in this beautiful holiday property with its dual-aspect, wrap-around balcony which affords you expansive views of the ever-changing light throughout the day from sunrise to sunset. Gaze across the yachts and boats moored in Amble’s popular marina towards medieval Warkworth Castle, on the Coquet Estuary. You can also see the sandy beach and coastline beyond and no matter what the weather is doing, you are guaranteed a front row seat to the best show on the coast!

Beautifully appointed, this first floor apartment with both lift and stairs access, offers high quality, modern facilities and comfortable furnishings throughout. The spacious, open-plan living area has wall to wall windows and a large, sliding door leads on to the balcony which wraps around two sides of the apartment offering a place to sit and watch the scene or enjoy a drink. The lounge area has a large sofa and two armchairs where you can relax and become mesmerised by the views and you can cosy up in the evening and watch a film on the Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen is well laid out and fully equipped with electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine and you can enjoy a meal or two together sitting at the large dining table with views across the harbour. There are two well presented bedrooms; the Master bedroom, with a super king-size/zip and link bed and an en-suite shower room with WC, plus a further double bedroom and bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, there is private, off-road parking for one car under the car port with options for a second car parking free nearby.

The apartment is located on the Northumberland Coastal Path and National Cycle Route 1 and from here, you have easy access to St. Oswald’s Way for walking and cycling. Known as the 'Friendliest Port,'  Amble has so much to offer all year round and all within easy reach, including some great, award-winning restaurants. The Fat Mermaid tapas and deli bar is on your doorstep, as are Sea Soil and Jaspers bistros. Other great restaurants to try include The Old Boathouse, The Fish Shack, The Sand Bar and La Famiglia. For sweet treats, the fabulous Spurelli’s ice cream parlour is not to be missed! Browse and buy gifts from the quirky boat-style shopping pods in the harbour and the award-winning High Street which offers an array of independent shops and cafes. Cycle the coastal routes (family friendly) to either nearby Cresswell and Druridge Bay to the south and Alnmouth to the north and take a boat trip to nearby Coquet Island to see the birdlife. The cottage was very clean and modern. The view from the balcony and through the main window was outstanding although it was difficult to open the door to the balcony. The welcome pack was gratefully received and overall I would thoroughly recommend this apartment

Still Waters is decorated in a nautical style which is entirely in keeping with the absolutely stunning view from the living area. Everything we needed was there. The location was perfect. We would definitely go back to Still Waters again.

Still waters really had the wow factor with ever changing views out of the great picture windows. The view was definitely a wow factor. All made for a very relaxing holiday ...just watching the world go by. We felt so at home, a well equipped property, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We did not feel the need to have to go anywhere else Read more...we ventured out in the car only once to Alnmouth and enjoyed a short walk there. Perhaps some hooks in bathroom for tones and towels but other than that very well equipped. Thinking of rebooking already ....definitely would recommend this particular property but would also recommend the company .....the Cottages in Northumberland team dealt with all our queries efficiently at a very difficult time for them with the terrible weather conditions...very helpful. We stayed in this apartment for four luxurious nights. It was as near to perfect as we have ever experienced. We holiday in self catering accommodation by choice, on average 2 or 3 times a year in the U.K. and this is the best property to date. If it wasn't brand new it felt it. It had everything - spacious open plan lounge/diner/kitchen fitted outRead more supremely with the latest gadgetry (something I'd never seen before was an electric hob which was cold even on full power, until you put the pan on top and then the contents of the pan heat very quickly). The view of the harbour and changing tides from the lounge, with its floor to ceiling windows, was breathtaking. The bedrooms carried on the magic - with sumptuous ensuite to the main one and separate spacious bathroom in addition. The heating was controlable in every room and under floor I assume - who knows with space age technology!? The lounge had access to a balcony which stretched around the corner. There are many restaurants, drinking holes, cafes and shops within a two minute walk. As if it needed more we were greeted with milk, coffee, Prosecco and crisps. Cottages in Northumberland made up for the dire service and cancelled booking by Sykes Cottages. The contrast in service is astounding. Use Sykes at your peril. All at two days notice due to Sykes not only letting us down but having a 7-10 day reply service on their three day notice of cancellation before you are due to travel. I still haven't heard back from them after an email to say they had double booked - a week after! So thank you to Cottages in Northumberland and the owners and cleaners of Still Waters. 10 out of 10!
