Coastal paths lead from the doorstep to nearby, beautiful Beadnell Bay (3 miles), Low Newton (7 miles) and Embleton (7 miles) for exquisite sandy beaches, pretty harbour villages and friendly pubs. To the south, you’ll find Bamburgh’s huge beach (3.5 miles), village amenities and iconic castle. To the north, birdwatching over the expansive Budle Bay (5.5 miles) awaits. Walk mere metres to play golf, browse shops, and explore the pubs and restaurants in Seahouses. Book a trip to see the wildlife on the Farne Islands, drive over the causeway to Holy Island for Lindisfarne Castle (19 miles) and spend a memorable day at Alnwick Castle and Gardens (15 miles).

Step through the front door of this inviting, corner cottage, and you will find lots of lovely touches throughout to ensure you all have a wonderful holiday. Enter the hallway where you can find the downstairs cloakroom with WC. Head into the light and airy open-plan lounge and dining area where you can relax on two generous sofas in front of the wood burner effect electric fire to watch a movie on Smart TV or DVD. Alternatively, head out through the sliding doors to extend your day sitting in the garden. Enjoy dining together sitting at the table with seating for four. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you will need including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine. There are two well-presented bedrooms upstairs, one with a king-size bed, ample storage for your things, a TV and an en-suite shower room with WC. The other is an attractive twin bedroom, perfect for children or adults. The family bathroom has a bath and WC.

Outside, at the rear, there is an enclosed patio garden laid on two levels with a patio table and chairs. The shed has a couple of sun lounger chairs and additional storage space for bikes or surf gear. To the front, there is bench seating where you can relax with a morning coffee or pull on your walking boots. There is off-road parking for one car in an allocated bay, plus additional parking close by.
