Set in the heart of a lovely village on the spectacular North East coast, this charming cottage is perfect for exploring the villages, castles and beaches of this fantastic part of Northumberland.

Spacious Dormer bungalow in the popular, seaside coastal village of Beadnell close to the beach. With 4 good size bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor along with a bathroom making this cottage suitable for guests with limited mobility, a lovely conservatory to relax in, as well as off-road parking for 2 cars, an enclosed patio garden, free guest Wi-Fi and many more facilities to make your holiday in Northumberland a comfortable and memorable stay. Seashells Cottage is dog friendly and would suit a large family, or a group of friends, divers, surfers and so on.

There is a sister cottage to Seashells next door called April Cottage which also sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and these two properties together would make an excellent choice for larger groups.

Beadnell village is home to two great pub/restaurants plus an excellent cafe/Bistro and a village store that sells just about everything you will need. The beautiful beach and harbour are within easy walking distance and you can enjoy a range of popular water sports here or simply make the most of the fresh air and space for walks along the golden sand with a great view of Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance.

This cottage accepts two well behaved dogs.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

I wouldnt call this a cottage. Its a semi-detached house in a lovely village with a wonderful pub/restaurant and only a couple of miles from all the facilities of Seahouses. Its clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped and the back garden whilst very bare and laid just with flag stones, is completely enclosed so our dog loved it. We had a lovely time at the cottage in Beadnell. We particularly enjoyed walking along the beach to Bamburgh and visiting Bamburgh castle.

Seashells Cottage is spacious clean and offers comfortable accommodation in quiet location. The property has 4 good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Garage great to store bikes/boats/ wetsuits. We really enjoyed our stay at Seashells. It is in a great location, walking distance to two beaches, shop, play park and the bus stop. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the conservatory and our children loved playing in the enclosed back patio area. We had fun travelling on the local bus to Seahouses, Bamburgh and Craster. The soft Read moreplay at Seahouses and a look round the RNLI station was good on the wet day. We plan to return next year. Having young children the washing machine and tumble dryer was invaluable. Nice cottage with plenty of room. Great location next to so many amazing beaches; nice play park 2 minutes from the front door. Lots to do in the area for all ages and levels of fitness.

The cottage is lovely and light. It is spacious and comfortable and in good decorative order. It is located in a quiet residential area which is only a five minute walk to shop and rock pools. There is a short cut via a children's playground to a lovely sandy beach. The estuary by Long Nanny river is beautiful looking back towards the harbour. RecoRead moremmend Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castles, Alnwick gardens, Lindisfarne nature reserve away from the crowds. Embleton, Walkworth and Bamburgh beaches are wonderful but all are lovely and so varied with the tides. Hide

The cottage was clean and spacious (there were 6 adults, 2 children and a baby in our party), and we had plenty of space. Seashells Cottage is a lovely 4-bed roomed cottage in Beadnell, only 5 minutes walk from the beach and the local shop. It has plenty of space with a lounge with two large sofas, as well as a good-sized conservatory which also has two large sofas and a 2nd TV. It also has a lovely paved area with table and benches outside for the good weather days.
