We love visiting Northumberland and have stayed in many different cottages over the years. This cottage with its cleanliness and family facilities was up with the best.

This is a beautifully appointed cottage with superb views across to the coast. Although we had travelled to the cottage by public transport, it didn't restrict what we could do - either making the pleasant walk into Alnmouth village or catching a bus to other places on the coast. We had a thoroughly enjoyable week and wouldn't hesitate to recommendRead more it to anyone! Hide

For the first time in ages the pictures of the property on the website actually reflected reality rather than someone using clever camera angles. A lovely cottage and a great base for the exploring Northumberland. Also enjoyed dog walking along the amazing beaches.

Super cottage, light and airy but cosy. A real sun trap even on Autumn afternoons. Very relaxing just to stay in the cottage and look at the view.

A lovely, well appointed cottage near a delightful village. Very Happy with the cleanliness and facilities. Parking is bit of a challenge if you have a large car.

This is a unique property with accommodation and provisioning in excess of a standard holiday rental. Although a 15 minute walk into Alnmouth worth it because of the quality of the cottage. The overall experience exceeded our expectations.

Well appointed. Light and airy with sea views. Although not in Alnmouth itself, Rose Cottage is handy for all coastal areas and major towns. Alnmouth is a very nice village with good beach parking, pubs, bistros and village stores.

Well equipped & excellent layout. The cottage was in close proximity to railway station & local amenities.

Clean, bright, well stocked, lovely. When it was sunny we could sit outside and when it was a bit rainy, we lit the fire and snuggled in. Particularly enjoyed Alnwick Gardens and Barter Books.

Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys.
