We are pleased to present the lovely Riverside, in the much-loved coastal village of Alnmouth. This spacious property offers welcoming, home-from-home holiday accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, with beautiful views of the beach at the point where the River Aln estuary flows into the sea. From the lounge, you can simply relax and take in the views and coastal scenery from the large bay window of this comfortable, first-floor maisonette. With a wood burning stove, free guest Wi-Fi and central heating, this property is warm and toasty all year round.

Riverside is located in one of the prime spots in this popular and discerning part of the Northumberland coast and the high street, with its wide range of independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are all just an easy stroll from your front door.

This property is ideal for families, couples and groups of friends looking for a relaxed and comfortable base for a coastal holiday. The golf course here is superb, with lovely, sea views and there is a children’s play area too, overlooking the river. Alnmouth is a short drive from the market town of Alnwick, where you can spend a day exploring The Alnwick Garden and of course, Alnwick Castle! (Hogwarts and Downton Abbey Fame!). The harbour village of Craster and Newton by the Sea are just a 20 minute drive and you can take a beach walk between these two via Dunstanburgh Castle heading for The Ship Inn seaside pub and eatery.

This cottage accepts one well behaved dog.

Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are all included.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

For 5 over 50s and 1 dog, Riverside was a very spacious and relaxing place for us to stay. Good pubs and a beautiful beach on our doorstep too.

5 Riverside Road is a super house. 6 Adults, two dogs and one small boy ran around happily with plenty of space. A house full of character, thoughtfully and imaginatively equipped and set out. Perfect location next to a beautiful sandy beach. Views across the sea from the front and the river from the back. We were two families of four, with teenagers, plus a small dog yet the house wasn't crowded. The kitchen is high quality with all the facilities needed for catering for a large group. We had a lovely week in this property. Ideally situated within walking distance of many restaurants/pubs in the pretty village of Alnmouth, as well as being just across the road from the beautiful beach. Also within easy driving distance of the many interesting places both to the north and south of Alnmouth, and the village is on the X18 bus route Read morewhich goes all along that coast between Newcastle and Berwick (bus stop about 10 minutes walk from the property). Lovely well equipped house for large group. Beautiful views across the sea. Open the front door and cross the road and your on the beach. Village has lovely pubs, tea rooms and a small convenience store. Great location for exploring the fabulous Northumberland coastline and it's many castles.

If you are looking for a cottage that is situated by the sea with Breath taking views- Riverside, Alnmouth is the place. Beach on your doorstep. Restaurants/bakery/coffee shops a short stroll away. Bus stop within 10mins walk. Service from Alnwick station on the hour. Train station under a mile away. No need for a car. Very environment friendly.

We really enjoyed our long weekend. It was a family break with our party ranging in age from 23 to 78. The views are delightful. We love tRead morehe Northumberland coast. We like a property where we don't have to be in the car everyday, where there are some shops/cafes/ restaurants and where there is space for everyone. This property satisfied all these for everyone. We loved the Post Office coffee every morning and the children loved all the sweetie jars! The scones from the Deli were voted number 1 by us and we took plenty of their sandwiches to the beach every day for a picnic!
