We had a lovely time at Rileys retreat, the cottage was very clean, lovely comfy beds, plenty of towels and a good secure garden for the dog. The location is great, easy walk into the village centre and to the beach. A dishwasher would be good and a bigger fridge for a family of 4 but we would definitely stay again.

Rileys Cottage is delightful. It is very well furnished and equipped. The conservatory was an extra bonus ant the garden was lovely too. The beach was very close- just across the golf course.

Great location, a few minutes walk on a path through the golf club to the beach and a short walk into the town. Very dog friendly area lots of beautiful beaches and pubs and hotels that welcomed dogs in the surrounding area. The cottage was well equipped and nicely furnished, the conservatory was nice to sit in when the weather wasn't good enough tRead moreo use the garden. The spiral staircase made it quirky, although took a bit of getting used to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Riley's Retreat. Hide

Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys.
