Lovely stay comfortable, clean and tidy everything you would need. Lovely walks at the local beaches would be brilliant in the summer if you have children. Lots of places to visit near by we caught the train from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Edinburgh and had a lovely day. The scenery is fantastic particularly along the coast line.

Quarry Bank is a compact house within easy reach of all local attractions - perfectly situated within Beadnell next to a local lake (which was a surprise) - less than a 10 minute walk to beach and bars. Online booking was very easy and admin staff seemed to have a good knowledge of the properties prior to making our decision.

We had never been to Northumberland before and booked Quarry Bank with only 3 days lead time. We loved the cottage, it had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. We cRead moreould not believe how close we were to the village, just a 5 min walk to the local shop and the Craster Arms was so good, we went back a few times to eat while we were there. We went to the beach at Seahouses to fly a new kite and build sandcastles and when it rained there was, unbelievably, a huge soft play centre that we could take refuge in. Amazing! We went on a boat trip to see the seal colony and some birdlife, loads of providers at Seahouses harbour for you to choose from but for the most part we played on the beach and had some lovely family time. Banburgh Castle was beautiful too. We are definitely coming back and will stay at Quarry Bank again. Hide
