The cottage was great. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a proper meal. There are multiple towels and a bath robe for each person. We had a really good week. We cycled there from Chathill. Bamburgh was a short cycle away. There is a shop there with lots of fresh produce and other groceries. There is also a co-op in Belford and another in Read moreSeahouses which are open later. We also cycled to Holy Island. We couldn't get any phone reception inside (Three). There was also no wifi. When we wanted internet we just left a phone outside and turned it into a wifi hotspot. A fantastic area and super place Poppy Cottage is a lovely cottage based on a farm. Very clean and comfortable with a comfy bed and very quiet but good location. Highlight for us was the local wildlife including red squirrels and hares seen within 100 metres of the cottage. A lovely holiday
