We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Panhaven and my parents stayed downstairs in Little Panhaven. The property was clean and very well equipped. Upon arrival we found a lovely welcome pack and little touches like a bottle of Radox in the bathroom were very much appreciated. The location is ideal with just a 5 min stroll across the green straight ontoRead more a beach which was fantastic for finding shells. Beds were super comfortable. We had everything we needed. Great location and very well appointed house. We had everything we needed to spend a very enjoyable Christmas week. The hosts had kindly put up a Christmas tree and other decorations and in addition, had left us some provisions in the fridge, an excellent little hamper and a bottle of wine - this was such a nice surprise and for which we thank themRead more. Amble and Warkworth were great for dog walking and for dog friendly pubs. Would stay again! Hide

All is fine especially the location but guests should be warned clearly, ( and my apologies if I missed this), that it is one the first floor of the property and the bedrooms are on the second floor. The bathroom was pretty cold too even when it had the heating on.

Panhaven is in a great location for exploring Amble, Warkworth and neighbouring beaches. The hosts included a welcome package, fresh flowers and bubble bath which was a lovely touch. We would have hoped for a more comfortable bed (mattress springs had gone and very loud which isnt ideal with a young baby). The apartment is quite tired in appearanceRead more to say its rated as 4 star. We took our dog and baby, there are signs up asking to be quiet but this is quite difficult with laminate flooring. The location of the property is very good as it is very close to the sea and to the town. The kitchen is well equipped. Thank you for the welcome pack. My main gripe is that whoever cleans the property needs to check that light bulbs are working after each let, that items in the welcome pack are not out of date, and the bathroom is cleaned properlyRead more. Great location, only a few minutes walk into the town of Amble. Good to be able to park outside the house. Not far to travel to places of interest. Lovely welcome pack and plenty of information about the area available. Lots of space for 4/5 people.

Lovely location and mostly a good place to stay. Well equipped kitchen but needs some little added extra touches to help (extra bin bags, spare cloths, cooking oil etc). Some TLC needed as showing signs of use, especially the bathroom found to be quite grubby. Welcome pack slightly disappointing following previous rave reviews (wine, box of out of Read moredate chocolates and two backs of hotel biscuits which were broken and subsequently left). Take a hairdryer and extra towels. Hide

Cottage is very cosy and a great location. There are a lot of stairs and the toilet is a long way from the bedroom. If you are very tall the beds may be too short. Otherwise a lovely place to be.
