This charming cottage has been tastefully updated to offer contemporary accommodation for family getaways.

The Milking Parlour is a large cottage on Ellingham Estate, sleeping six people over three bedrooms, making it perfect for families. The cottage is also pet friendly, so why not bring your four-legged friend along for your holiday too? This cosy cottage has a large open plan kitchen/diner/living area with double doors leading onto a private garden. Also on the ground floor the property benefits from a utility room with wc. Upstairs are the three beautifully appointed bedrooms. The master bedrooms is en-suite and the other two bedrooms share a spacious bathroom adjacent. The garden has a patio area with garden furniture, where you can sit out, dine and enjoy the fresh country air.

For the littles ones in your party, there is an amazing shared treehouse to the front of the property for them to play out and enjoy.

Just a short stroll from the cottage is the village of Ellingham which has a church, pub and art gallery. The Pack Horse Inn is a typical English Country Pub, serving an array of locally sourced produce for both lunch and dinner.

A little further afield, there is the popular beach of Beadnell Bay making it perfect for picnics on the long sandy beaches. Within the centre of Beadnell village, is the Craster Arms, housed in Pele Tower offering good food and a great atmosphere.

The Magnificant Bamburgh Castle is a mere 10 miles away and is a fantastic place to visit, shop and eat - while the market town of Alnwick, famous for its castle and gardens is only 10 miles south of Ellingham.

A trip to the seals at the Farne Islands is a must from the bustling village of Seahouses with a great range of shops, bars and restaurants all in the vicinity.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
