Marys Crag View Cottage is a superbly presented, spacious property which has been lovingly renovated to offer luxury holiday accommodation and modern facilities for up to 6 guests in an excellent location near Budle Bay and Bamburgh in Northumberland. With wonderful views across beautiful, open countryside to the sea at Budle Bay and plenty of space both inside and out, this property is ideal for a family or a group of friends looking for somewhere really special to spend time together, away from home.

Known to the family-owners as Marys Crag View Cottage in memory of their mother, this light and airy cottage is loved and it shows! The owners have gone out of their way to offer every facility you will need for a happy, relaxing and memorable stay. With single storey, open-plan living accommodation, you have a spacious lounge, kitchen and dining area with huge sliding doors leading out into one of the two garden and patio areas. There are two large sofas and a cosy, wood-burning stove . There are 3 beautifully presented bedrooms, all with TVs. The two double bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms and the sliding doors leading out from these rooms into the garden and decking area. The single bedroom also has a TV and a pull-out single bed for a sixth guest.

Outside, there are two full enclused fenced garden areas (dual aspect) with plenty of outdoor furniture and a Kadai cast iron fire pit perfect for BBQ’s and cosy evenings in front of the fire, where you can relax after your days out exploring. Simply sit back, take a deep breath in and and enjoy the fabulous views!

You can easily get to all of your favourite places from here including Budle Bay/Ross Back sands, only 1.5 miles and Bamburgh village with its magnificent Castle, Grace Darling Museum, excellent restaurants and of course, its glorious beach only 3.5 miles. (5 mins in the car). The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is 10 miles, the market town of Alnwick for the Castle (Hogwarts fame) and World famous Alnwick Gardens is only 14 miles and Berwick-upon-Tweed is 15 miles to name a few.

Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and there is room to park 2 cars at the cottage.

Marys Crag View Cottage welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs over the age of 1 years old.

A lovely cottage in a great location. Ideal place to stay to explore Northumberland and its castles. We enjoyed the views to the bay and the sheep in the neighbouring fields.

The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet location and is generally well equipped.Being surrounded by field on 3 sides it offers lovely countryside views-cows, hares and birds were in abundance! It is was clean and offered a very comfortable stay. The location of the cottage is fabulous. An enclosed garden allows dogs to be out introducing themselves to the sheep and cows. The cottage is fantastic and very comfortable. All mod cons are provided. We had a great time and would happily return.

Highly recommended as a dog friendly cottage, garden is very secure and our two large Boxers loved it, they also loved the patio doors as they could be open for them to come and go and spent hours watching the sheep fascinated. Very well equipped with beautiful views.

Fantastic property in a great location for discovering Northumberland, with lovely views and very dog friendly. Patio doors in each bedroom were great which meant dogs could be let out in a morning without disturbing other guests. Well appointed, warm and garden a good size which is secure.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting with virtually everything you need. A very high standard of equipment, I have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone, I would certainly book this cottage again. The owner was so helpful, giving us places to visit with my dog, answering any questions we had promptly.

Four of us stayed with our Labrador for four nights this week. Lovely, bright, modern and spacious cottage with amazing, relaxing views. Enclosed garden is a real bonus for dog owners/those with children. We are hoping to return!

Really enjoyed our stay in this holiday home. Very well furnished, equipped and clean. There are lovely views from large windows and we also loved watching all the local wildlife. The house is ideally placed to visit Bambrugh, Sea Houses (boat trip to Farne Islands a must) Alnwick, Holy Island and beach walks.
