Mariners House is a superb, spacious first floor apartment just metres from the golden, sandy beach in Alnmouth and offers stunning sunrises and panoramic sea views from the huge bay windows over Alnmouth’s scenic golf course and sandy beach.

This 4-star Visit England period property offers relaxing, comfort for up to 6 guests in one of the most enviable locations in this popular seaside village on the Northumberland coast. You can simply see for miles from here in both directions, including Coquet Island just off the coast of nearby Amble’s historic fishing harbour. Sit back and watch the colours of the sky and seascape changing throughout the day and you will soon wish you were staying here for longer.

The apartment is a perfect choice for a family of up to 6 or, a group of friends looking for a welcoming place to return to, after busy days out and about exploring everything our wonderful Northumberland has to offer!

Take the stairs up to the first floor apartment which leads you into the apartment, with three good-size bedrooms, a warming, open fire set in the original stone fireplace, two large, comfortable sofas, a spacious dining area, free guest WiFi, Smart TV, a range of games and books and modern kitchen facilities, you will have everything you need to spread out, relax and make the most of your stay.

The golf course is literally 20 yards from here and the beach, well you will just want to unpack the car, drop everything and head straight there for a refreshing walk along the clean, golden sand, perhaps stopping for ice-cream on the way back! The village of Alnmouth is a short walk up a short incline where there is a great choice of friendly places to eat and drink and there are plenty of independent shops and a superb, artisan deli where you can buy  some treats to make dinner. Alnmouth loves art and hosts an Arts Festival every year in June, so you will find a good collection galleries to browse and maybe take home some holiday mementos.

Nearby, you are within easy reach of Bamburgh with its iconic castle and beach, The Farne Islands - a must visit for wildlife, Warkworth village and medieval castle, award winning Amble with its bustling harbour and trendy marina area and of course, the market town of Alnwick with its magnificent Castle - where scenes from Harry Potter’s Hogwart school were filmed and The Alnwick Garde, a world class, must-visit!

The flat is a smashing spot. The lovely view across the bay of Alnmouth is a wonderful start to the day. The flat is well equipped so no need to worry about having enough cutlery, plates, pans etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend, lots of character and v charming.

We had a wonderful time at this apartment, the views were to die for! The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable. All amenities were within three minutes walk of the apartment. A special shout out for the Golf club breakfast (virtually next door). Amazing full english for less than 10.00 We will be back!

Wonderful week long stay at Mariners House. Superb ever changing views out to sea and no better location for early morning dog walks on the beach. The apartment had everything we needed and was ideal for enjoying Alnmouth and the surrounding area. Hope to be back next year.

Amazing apartment! Very well located for the beach. Fantastic view to be had from 4 window seating area leaves you spoilt for choice. Very comfortable and homely. Alnmouth is lovely. It was smaller than we expected but you can find everything you need on the high Street, especially at the Post Office Store. We loved exploring the local beaches. We loved our holiday and didnt want to leave. The apartment was perfectly located and Ceri was fabulous when the TV didnt work and bought a new one, which was installed the following day. Everything was spotless and well appointed. The beach right on the doorstep and Alnmouth had a great few pubs to go to at night. Perfect spot for watching the world go by, well equipped kitchen, plenty of space for 6 people, very comfortable beds. Perfect for a short stay, especially if you want to go walking. It is a very busy village so parking is a bit of an issue as the apartment is on the one way system so the bays outside were snapped us as soon as we moved the car so Read morehad to use the paid carpark a couple of times and move the car before it closed when the village was quieter. A warm, welcoming and well equipped first floor flat. Essentials for your arrival provided (milk, coffee/tea, fire wood, etc). Linen and towels provided and even dog towel and treats. We had a fantastic holiday at Mariners House. The appartment is extremely comfortable with a large open plan sitting room with amazing views out onto Alnmouth Golf Course and to the sea. Alnmouth beach is less than a five minute walk from the appartment, the golf course is right outside the door while the high street is reached through a short cut Read morethrough. A fabulous flat. We just loved the views and could speeds hours watching the sea. Very spacious. We were a group of four adults and had plenty of room. Decor is lovely. The beaches are pretty and clean with lots of walks from the coastal path. Alnmouth has a few good pubs and cafes. Will definitely be looking to stay again

The accommodation was lovely, a mixture of vintage and modern decor with views across the golf course to the beach and the sea. Living room was flooded with light from the large bay windows. Lovely first floor accommodation, with a great view to the sea. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. We were aware that car parking directly outside the building might not be possible, and we worked around that. Would recommend this place, and the area.
