Clean and tidy and quiet. The outlook is not picturesque but once inside with the wood burner going we were snug in the coldest week this year. Comfy bed and snug sofas for curling up on after a day's walking.

All very well thought out, attractive and efficient cottage which was an ideal base for exploring this area The parking permit was a real bonus, a well stocked Coop a minute away, and an electric car charger in the car park made the practicalities easy. Our holiday more than met expectations the scale of the scenery and plenty to do and see.

A nice little place if you dont need too much space. The car park is handy so dont be put off by not having a parking space and the permit saved us having to pay anywhere. The town centre is on the doorstep as are loads of places to eat. Very happy.
