Little Cottage is a tastefully renovated and recently decorated one storey cottage retreat and is located in a quiet spot in the coastal village of Seahouses. This cosy property with a log burning stove is perfect for a romantic break or for a couple with a little one or, a family of 3. Lovely, cosy base to get away from it all and snuggle up on the comfortable sofa in front of the fire with a good DVD and a glass of wine following a day out and about enjoying the sea air and beach walks. As well as the log burning stove, there is central heating ensuring it is a cosy cottage all year round and free guest Wi-Fi. The beach, harbour, shops, bars and restaurants are all within an easy walk from the cottage.

Seahouses provides the ideal holiday location due to the beautiful scenery which surrounds the village. Located right on the sea front, Seahouses Harbour is only a short walk from the cottage and all of the amenities and attractions which the village has to offer.

The beautiful coastline is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is best enjoyed by a boat trip out to the Farne Islands which is a great day out for all the family. Nearby Alnwick, which was deemed the Best Place to Live in Britain, is a gorgeous little town with plenty of amenities as well as a fantastic castle which was used as the set in some of the Harry Potter films.

If you’re a keen walker, then Seahouses is ideal for you as it is the perfect base for many, many stunning coastal walks. The beaches are unspoilt and idyllic, awaiting your arrival. A short drive away, the Cheviot Hills offer spectacular views as well as walks for the more adventurous among you.

Book a trip to the Farne Islands, visit Bamburgh Castle, have a tasty lunch in Craster and a beach walk to Dunstanburgh Castle followed by a pint of ale at The Ship in Low Newton and try a visit to Rick Stein’s highly-acclaimed Swallow Fish Smokery near the cottage where you can treat yourselves to some freshly smoked kippers or smoked salmon for a tasty breakfast.

A beautiful cottage in a great location, just 2 mins from the beach. It has a lovely little garden with seats, which was great for relaxing after a long walk.

House, though clean with comfortable lounge, would be very difficult if a third person was with us during our stay. Double bedroom is only just large enough for the bed which is pushed against the wall. Stored cases in small room as no where for them. Bathroom very, very compact. Courtyard garden small and secure but not really dog friendly. ParkinRead moreg was a nightmare. The cottage is really only suitable for 1 or 2 people. Lack of storage and the bedrooms are SMALL. I know its called little cottage but its like a bedsit Some facilities were lacking such as washing machine for cleaning clothes, nowhere to dry any wet clothes. The garden could do with proper table & chairs rather than the bench provided. We had greRead moreat weather and would have liked to sit out at a table to eat our meal. Very clean and a great location but I wouldnt recommend this cottage. Hide

Little Cottage was perfect. We loved our stay there in Seahouses. A visit to Fishermans Kitchin next door is a must. The kippers and potted shrimp were delicious. There are 2 excellent pubs at the end of the lane and it's only a short walk to the harbour and shops. The beach is the best ever. Dotty the dog loved it. Would definitely return.
