This gorgeous and cosy cottage is situated just a few moments’ walk from Seahouses harbour. Offering a convenient location and a comfortable stay, it’s a great base for your Northumberland adventure.

Fantastic location right at the harbour front in popular Seahouses, Kipper Cottage is just a few moments walk from the picturesque harbour, you can step outside and enjoy breath-taking views within seconds from here and the beaches and village amenities are a mere stroll away. There is a range of good, local shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes in the village meaning you can breathe in the sea air while you grab any necessities for your stay.

This cottage has a real cosy feel about it and staying here means you are within easy reach of the boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals at various times of the year, you can walk along the beach or coastal path to beautiful Bamburgh village, visit the magnificent castle that looms large over the coastline and explore the village restaurants, independent shops, the Grace Darling Museum and golden stretches of beach. Visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne for some mead tasting and the historic priory and castle, walk the crescent shaped beach and Bay at nearby Beadnell with its two great pub restaurants and renowned Salt water cafe (patisserie by day and Bistro by night!).

Kipper Cottage has full central heating (solar powered) and is equipped with Wi-Fi and a lovely new wood burning stove for cosy nights in at all times of the year. Whether you decide to relax indoors or use Kipper Cottage as your base for exploring our stunning heritage coastline, this is ideal accommodation for either a short break or a longer seaside holiday.

Please note: Kipper Cottage is opposite the Schooner Inn, a friendly local pub which welcomes holidaymakers and their dogs and hosts live music at weekends.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Found Kipper Cottage to be very welcoming & very comfortable. The owners obviously care deeply that the guests enjoy there holiday and this is most appreciated. A pint of milk awaited us plus other little goodies, together with the ambiance of the cottage it was very much home from home. The location is perfect especially for anyone who doesn't wanRead moret to travel far to all the amenities that Seahouses has to offer. The landlord of the pub across the road was most welcoming. Great location in Seahouses, right by the harbour. The cottage was well equipped, well heated, beds comfortable, plenty of towels. Nice touch was the bowl of fruit, small cans of cocktails, and some treats for our dog. You can walk north on beaches up to Bamburgh and have lunch in the hotel; or you can walk south on beaches to Beadnell and have lunRead morech/dinner in the Caster Arms. Kipper Cottage is a cosy little place close to Seahouses harbour and the town main street - convenient for lots of pubs and a 10-second walk from the harbour beach. Cosy cottage and well stocked. Had everything we needed. Good location. We saw lots of seal pups and a large group of dolphins with a baby! Recommend 'Serenity' boat trips to the Farne Islands. We visited Alnwick Castle - and Craster is very pretty. Beautiful part of the country and the people are very friendly!

Kipper cottage is in great location. The area is quiet but it is very easy to nip out to the shops if you needed anything. We went to Bamburgh Castle, had a full day out at Alnwick, Lindisfarne and great boat trip with Serenity.

I thought the area was outstanding, we visited many castles and beaches. The only down side of the cottage was the smokers standing outside the pub opposite the cottage. The cottage was spotless and had everything we required for our stay. Overall I was very pleased with Kipper Cottage.
