This cottage has a real cosy feel about it and staying here means you are within easy reach of the boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals at various times of the year, you can walk along the beach or coastal path to beautiful Bamburgh village, visit the magnificent castle that looms large over the coastline and explore the village restaurants, independent shops, the Grace Darling Museum and golden stretches of beach. Visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne for some mead tasting and the historic priory and castle, walk the crescent shaped beach and Bay at nearby Beadnell with its two great pub restaurants and renowned Salt water cafe (patisserie by day and Bistro by night!).

Nice location for walking in several locations. Big open beaches loved by the dogs. Pub over road has music nights but if you do not want to go with dog, then the noise does not bother you in the cottage. Overall a nice relaxing stay in a cosy cottage.

This is a cosy cottage which we found very comfortable. Although there is not a parking space a t the property, a parking permit is provided for the nearby car park and can also be used in other places.

Lovely cottage with stunning views and easy access to the harbour and beaches, however the noise from the pub opposite was horrendous, it was so loud on the first two nights I was walking around seahouses with my autistic daughter till after midnight as she couldn't cope with it, and we left a day early to avoid more music/noise on the Friday nightRead more. Really enjoyed our stay. Customers need to be aware that cottage is opposite a pub that has musical entertainment at the weekend but is very quiet during week. Otherwise a very comfortable pleasant cottage . . loved it.

This cottage was perfect for the harbour and the beach. We were able to walk to headland or the town within a minute in either direction and had some lovely walks. The fire was a real treat. The car was a little walk away but the pass worked well in all areas and we hardly paid parking the whole holiday. The town was lovely and near enough to visitRead more many other lovely places. We love Seahouses and the cottage is in a great spot. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms however are really tight on space - there is one child sized wardrobe in one room- nothing in the other. So nowhere to unpack but nowhere to put your case either. Disappointing.

Kipper cottage is situated in the pretty seaside town of Seahouses, a stone's throw away from the harbour. Perfect for couples of or those enjoying a busy nightlife as the neighbouring pubs entertain a large number of patrons at the weekend.

Cosy cottage and well stocked. Had everything we needed. Good location. We saw lots of seal pups and a large group of dolphins with a baby! Recommend 'Serenity' boat trips to the Farne Islands. We visited Alnwick Castle - and Craster is very pretty. Beautiful part of the country and the people are very friendly!

Kipper cottage is in great location. The area is quiet but it is very easy to nip out to the shops if you needed anything. We went to Bamburgh Castle, had a full day out at Alnwick, Lindisfarne and great boat trip with Serenity.

I thought the area was outstanding, we visited many castles and beaches. The only down side of the cottage was the smokers standing outside the pub opposite the cottage. The cottage was spotless and had everything we required for our stay. Overall I was very pleased with Kipper Cottage.
