Please extend our delight and thanks to the cottage owners. What a fantastic accommodation - well thought out, well equipped, super comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. It absolutely made our holiday perfect having a lovely home to come back to each day. Seahouses itself is lovely - the beach walks were outstanding - even in the rain. Lovely shops aRead morend great ice cream from Coxens! Visited Bamburgh Castle which we enjoyed - especially helpful and thoughtful touch by Cottages in Northumbria to provide discount vouchers for this and other attractions. Fab food at the Bamburgh Inn and a lovely wee lager shandy every night in The Ship where we loved the lovely cosy atmosphere. Everyone in Seahouses so friendly and welcoming. We will be returning! Lovely views from top floor of cottage. Great location for days out and also lots of good restaurants and pubs in village (the Links, Elan pizza, Bamburgh Castle Inn). Handy to have good-sized co-op too. Enjoyed walk to Bamburgh Castle along the beach, boar trip to Farnes, Holy Island, walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle.

The cottage was really clean and ideally suited for local attractions. I recommend Alnwick Gardens and Castle, Holy Island and boat trips to the Farne Islands but note that the Puffins are there from May to July (only saw 1 in August so will come back).

Nice cottage in a great location with lovely views. Seahouses was a good base for visiting Alnwick and some lovely beaches. We particularly enjoyed our visit to Paxton House (near Berwick) which was very reasonably priced and had lovely food and play area.

The cottage is lovely, well decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets & the view to Bamburgh Castle. It's well situated in the middle of Seahouses and good to have parking. We would stay there again. Great trips to Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick Gardens & Alnmouth as well as many walks along Seahouses beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Northumberland. The cottage was ideal for the two of us and although we had a problem with the fridge, the owner brought up a replacement immediately. The weather was mixed but the cottage was always warm and friendly after a day's walking and the beds were very comfortable. We are likely to return.

Islands View is a perfect location for central Seahouses. Stunning views and good coastal walks on the doorstep. Alnwick is a lovely town to visit for half a day and as we weren't far, travelled to Berwick to catch a train to Edinburgh for the day.

The location is great and views from the top floor of the harbour and Bamburgh castle in the distance are excellent. The house is well equipped and the top floor open plan kitchen/living room/diner is its best feature. The Northumberland coastline is stunning and we particularly enjoyed visiting Craster and walking along the coast to Dunstanburgh cRead moreastle, Holy Island and Warkworth. Seahouses is a lovely little town with plenty of places to eat and drink and a small supermarket. We found the Bamburgh Castle pub particularly welcoming of children and dogs. Hide
