An attractive holiday cottage in the quiet hamlet of Warenton is an attractive rural retreat surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for exploring the area's diverse attractions.

Hill House is a former farm building that has been lovingly converted to a luxury holiday cottage located in Warenton, a quiet and attractive hamlet surrounded by beautiful countryside, and just short drive to the village, castle and stunning beaches of Bamburgh, Seahouses and Beadnell. There are stunning views from the garden out towards Holy Island, Bamburgh and Budle Bay, across rolling fields and farmland. There are lots of footpaths nearby to explore and the local lanes are ideal for cycling.

This outstanding cottage has been finished and furnished to an excellent standard and offers a family or group of friends a luxurious base from which to explore our wonderful county.

With generous living accommodation, including 2 lounge areas; one upstairs with high ceilings and exposed beams and the second, downstairs serving as a great family area. The large, fully equipped kitchen/dining area comes with a smart, range-style cooker and an American style fridge/freezer with ice dispenser. There are 3 attractive bedrooms, including one king-size located downstairs with an en-suite shower room, plus a second king size and a further twin/king size upstairs, as well as a gorgeous family bathroom.

Outside space includes a spacious garden with a patio area and fire pit, a summer house with some indoor seating and basic kitchen facilities to make a cup of tea, outdoor dining furniture, rocking chairs to relax in and those amazing views! To the rear, there is another enclosed, gated patio area with a second table and chairs. There is parking for 2-3 cars on the drive.

With free guest Wi-Fi.

This cottage accepts one well behaved dog.

For larger parties: Hill House can be booked alongside nearby Blue Barn cottage also sleeping 6. N.B. The cottages rear gardens face one another.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £200 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Sensational beach at Bamburgh, great walk to Seahouses in very cold conditions. Friendly people. Cottage was exceedingly welcoming environment and felt like home from home.

Hill House was beautiful and very comfortable and very well equipped both inside and out. The views towards the sea were just stunning. The Cottage is surrounded by rich countryside with lots of wildlife. We were visited by a young hare (leveret) who walked around the garden on several occasions. Lots of footpaths nearby to explore. Hill House is a clean spacious cottage to a high standard. Peaceful with amazing views with everything you need. Close to all attractions set in a peaceful location. The boys enjoyed the summerhouse and playing in the garden. We had lots of fun at Alnmouth beach and enjoyed a great boat trip at Seahouses. A trip to Alnwick Castle is a must for the kids, we enjoyed a full day there and Bamburgh has a lovely beach. Enjoyed our week at Hill House and was sorry to have to leave. Hide

Hill house cottage is in a beautiful, secluded location in the hamlet of Warenton. The cottage is immaculately kept and furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Hill House is a beautifully situated, well appointed cottage. The views are stunning and everything in the cottage is of a high quality, comfortable standard. It really is home from home. The hamlet in which it is situated is beautiful and peaceful, but you are within very easy reach of the A1 to travel to other destinations, and the coastline. The cottage is in a beautiful and quiet location, great views, superbly clean and well equipped. Very secure garden for children and dogs including little dogs. Bamburgh castle is superb, you must try the Bamburgh sausages and sausage rolls from the local butcher. Seahouses is a must and the boat trips are fabulous, seeing puffins, seals, gulls andRead more great views. Only 80 miles to Edinburgh for a great day out. Lovely barn conversion in beautiful quiet setting. Very comfortable and well equipped. Views are amazing. Short drive from Bamburghs beautiful beach. Take a trip round or to the Farne Islands from Seahouses is well worth it. See the puffins up close and grey seals lazing on the rocks! Cragside near Rothbury is not far away and very interesting.

A great cottage probably the best I've stayed in. Could not fault it, extremely well equipped, never rented a better one. Spacious and well positioned to explore the area. A great cottage to stay in, extremely well equipped everything working and very clean, a quiet position a great base to see this beautiful area from.
