This spacious cottage is situated just a short walk from the picturesque harbour. It has a relaxing atmosphere with everything you could need to make your holiday enjoyable.

Highgarth Cottage is a spacious, semi-detached three bedroom cottage situated just two minutes walk from the picturesque harbour in Seahouses. The property has gardens to the front and back and a patio area. Highgarth has a relaxing atmosphere with everything you could need to make your holiday comfortable and enjoyable. There are two lounge areas and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your well earned holiday at the seaside.

Seahouses is a beautiful seaside village in Northumberland. The village has lots of places to eat, whether in a restaurant, cafe or takeaway. There are a few pubs within walking distance from the cottage, and you will find a co-op supermarket for your extra supplies. Seahouses has a lovely golden beach as well as a harbour, where you can take a boat trip across to the Farne Islands which is a famous sea bird sanctuary with a colony of Grey Seals.

Just outside of Seahouses, along the coast is the lovely village of Bamburgh. With their castle taking centre stage, it is a must see visit when you are in the area.

If you’re visiting Seahouses with the kids, the bunker, based along the seafront in Seahouses has a great outdoor crazy golf course for you and your family to enjoy. For kids, there is a large indoor play facility to keep them entertained. The soft play area features physical adventure equipment perfect for toddlers and children up to the age of 12. Great place to visit if it rains!

This cottage accepts up to two well behaved dogs.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

The cottage was well maintained, well equipped, comfortable and homely. We particularly appreciated the enclosed garden for the dogs. Definitely accommodation we would return to.

We had a lovely weekend. A cosy cottage which is very comfortable. Maggie checked to see that we had everything we needed which was very thoughtful. We love Seahouses and we will be back soon.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well located for access to the town & beach. Enclosed garden for the dog. We enjoyed a boat trip to the Farne Islands, Horse riding on the beach & a visit to Holy Island.

The cottage was very centrally located in Seahouses so convenient for shops and pubs.The cottage is well equipped with TV, DVD and many stored films and music which was easy to access.

Very nice cottage in good location. Very good for dog as well as enclosed safe garden. Everything there you need. Had a great holiday and good access to lots of beach walks with no driving.

The cottage was very close to the harbour. It was warm and homely. The beds were very comfortable, we could park beside the cottage. We would be happy to stay here again. The wifi was appreciated by our teenagers.

Spacious and welcoming - welcome tray in kitchen. The cottage had everything that is needed for a holiday, well equipped in general and comfortable for a family and is v good value given size and location of property.

Clean and tidy, very good position for walking into town and the cliff walks. Everything we needed was there at hand. Easy to book. Seahouses is a good centre to start , lots of beautiful dog friendly beaches within short distances, loved it!!

Clean and tidy. A good range of books/DVD's/games to pass the time with. Perfect location for everything. Our caretaker Steve was very friendly and helpful. Highgarth is a clean and tidy cottage with evertything Seahouses has to offer within a short walk. We had meals at the Bamburgh Castle Inn and The Links Hotel, both worth a visit. A trip to theRead more Farne Islands is a must and also to Bamburgh to see the Castle and also to the church of St Aiden to see the grave of Grace Darling. We also visited Cragside which was well worth the entrance fee. A great holiday was had by all our family and we will definitely be coming back! Hide
