This two-bedroom cottage is a family-friendly dream which features its own private garden complete with stunning views.

Gun Room Cottage is a family friendly cottage with an open plan aspect for the lounge/kitchen/dining area with double doors leading out onto its own private garden overlooking the magnificent Ellingham Hall. The kitchen is fully equipped and benefits from a Range Master cooker with gas hob. Just off the kitchen is a utility room housing a down stairs toilet. On the upper level the cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower.

The beautiful private Ellingham Hall, a stately home dating back to the 19th Century takes a prominent position in front of the cottage. To the side of the hall is an amazing shared treehouse play area, which will delight any child looking for an adventure.

Ellingham village is just a short walk away, where you will find the Park Horse Inn, serving delicious homemade food with locally sourced seasonal produce whenever possible. They even have their own vegetable garden keeping their kitchen well stocked. You can wash your meal down with a variety of local beers too!

If you fancy a day at the beach, the beautiful Beadnell village is a popular choice for families. The stunning golden beach within Beadnell bay is an ideal spot for a picnic. If watersports are on the agenda, Beadnell is very popular with surfers, as the protected waters have varied wind angled sandbanks and reefs in the middle of the bay.

A little further afield is the magnificent Bamburgh Castle which is a fantastic place to visit, shop and eat. Or you could take a trip to see the seals at the Farne Islands from the bustling village of Seahouses.
