Beautiful house, extremely well decorated, immaculately clean with all the amenities you could want and very spacious. Nice large, safe garden for kids to run around. With a Tea Room opposite, 3 pubs within 100-200 yards and two excellent restaurants (The Potted Lobster & Mizen Head) within 400-500 yards its very well situated in the centre of this beautiful little village. Then there's the beach, truly stunning! Bamburgh Castle tour is a must, allow a full half day to a full day, depending how much of the remarkable history you want to digest. Seahouses is a 3 mile walk along the beach south, didn't have time to venture north. Will definitely be returning to Bamburgh and can highly recommend Grove House as a base. An outside hot tub would be a nice addition, but that's the only improvement possible. Hide

When we arrived it was spotless, beautifully appointed and exactly as per the pictures/description that made us choose it.
