Such a lovely cottage in the heart of Seahouses. Had everything we needed, very clean & comfortable. Especially enjoyed the terrace outside where we were lucky enough to sit everyday. Would most certainly recommend Grace Cottage. Will visit again in the future.

The cottage was perfectly placed for access to the beach, the harbour and the town. Inside the cottage, everything you needed was provided and the welcome hamper was an unexpected bonus. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable and the cottage had a very homely feel. We will definitely be going back.

The cottage was fabulous. Everything you needed and more and the local food hamper was such a welcoming and lovely thought. Only negative, the small parking space for SUV. The location was perfect. We spent our week walking along the beach to the both Bamburgh and Breadnall, such a beautiful and unspoilt coastline. We took a boat ride over to FarneRead more Islands which was amazing to see all the wildlife. We were fortunate enough to see dolphins whilst enjoying a meal at the Bamburgh Castle Inn. Hide

We stayed in this cosy cottage in February. The cottage was delightful. Perfect location, lovely to come back to after a windy day at the beach and great hosts. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others and we hopefully be back one day.

If you’re looking for a seaside holiday with a difference, visit Northumberland – a region brimming with beautiful golden, sandy beaches, rolling hills, craggy moorland, bustling market towns and fishing villages, and more castles than in any other county in England.

Situated in the North East of England, this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasts no less than 39 miles of unspoilt coastline to explore and a calendar packed with exhilarating water sports options. To indulge in a spot of surfing, kayaking or powerboating, take a trip to one of the many breath-taking Northumberland beaches - where dogs love a good walk and fresh local seafood is never far away.

Home to the awe-inspiring Cheviot Hills and the historical Hadrian’s Wall, the Northumberland National Park is renowned for its open spaces, award-winning Dark Skies and stunning rural backdrops - and is the least populated national park in Britain. Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys. If it’s history you’re looking for, the imposing Bamburgh Castle and the world-famous Alnwick Castle are undoubtedly worth a visit.
