This lovingly restored stone-built cottage lies just a stone's throw from the beach and historic harbour. An ideal location to relax after exploring Seahouses and the wider area.

Gable Cottage is a beautifully refurbished, two storey, stone-built, end cottage for up to 6 guests with a range of lovely facilities. It is ideal for a family or group of friends looking for somewhere special to come home to after days out and about in this stunning area. Lovingly renovated to restore its original charm whilst providing holiday makers with an excellent standard of holiday accommodation, Gable Cottage is located on a quiet street in the heart of the historic harbour area, just a short walk from the shops, restaurants and friendly pubs in the lovely village of Seahouses on the Northumberland coast.

Gable Cottage has 3 bedrooms; a master, King-size bedroom, a second bedroom with a small, double bed and a further bunk bedded room. The cottage oozes original charm and now offers modern comforts, such as a cosy wood burning stove in the spacious lounge, free guest Wi-Fi, BT TV with Sport package and Netflix and there is a useful utility room accessed via the rear door with a washing machine and additional storage space.

Close to the coastal path, Gable Cottage is perfectly placed for guests to enjoy the many local attractions, including the bustling harbour and golden, sandy beach, boat trips to the Farne Islands for puffins, seals and an array of amazing birdlife, Seahouses Golf course which is open to visitors all year round. No trip to the area is complete without a walk to Bamburgh Castle and its stunning beach, plus Bamburgh village boasts a great range of independent shops and locally renowned places to eat and drink. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is just a short drive, as well as world renowned, The Alnwick Gardens and Alnwick Castle (Downton Abbey and Hogwarts fame). Close by, you can access the fabulous, local seaside villages of Beadnell with its stunning bay for watersports and picnics in the sand dunes, Low Newton-by-the-Sea for The Ship Inn, Craster village for its pretty harbour, great seafood and coastal path to Dunstanburgh Castle and all the other local attractions are all within easy driving distance throughout Northumberland.

This cottage accepts up to two medium well behaved dogs.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

The cottage was lovely and in a lovely location. The chocolates,wine and tea making facilities were a lovely welcome. Thank you to the owner for leaving the parking permits that was a real bonus and a lovely thought. Everything about the cottage was spot on and would not hesitate to go back in the future. Our dog loved the closeness of the beach.

Brilliant location, owners left a welcome bottle of wine and chocs which was appreciated. Fire great and they left loads of fuel for it. Lovely little cottage in a superb village. Boat trips and scenery lovely all around.

The Gables is a fabulous cottage, even better than the pictures! Spacious, modern, very well equipped and & just round the corner from the beach couldnt fault it had a fabulous time. We were supplied with kindle and logs for the fire and a bottle of prosseco and chocolates lovely welcoming touch. Thank you we will be back!

The cottage was in a good location near the waterfront and was well equipped. It was a bonus to have a large smart TV with access to Netflix. There is plenty places to visit of interest and things to keep children entertained. The beach and surroundings at Bamburgh Castle was idyllic.

Gable is a great cottage in a very convenient location. Well equipped, we were pleased with the internet and netflix too. All the rooms were really nice and we didn't have a single problem during our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Gable cottage is within a few minutes walk of the sea and it was a pleasure to walk out in the morning to see the sea. The beach stretching to Bamburgh is fantastic. We also enjoyed a boat trip to the Farne Islands. My partner and I recently spent at week at Gable Cottage, character property with a modern twist. Well equipped, very clean, nice touch of sparkling wine and chocolates on arrival.
