This lovely, spacious cottage is situated in a quiet location, just a short stroll from the thriving centre of Alnwick, with its popular market, bars, shops, art galleries and restaurants.

Creamery Cottage is a spacious, luxury holiday property for up to 6 guests, which enjoys a superb location in a quiet street a short walk from the centre of the popular market town of Alnwick, not to mention the famous Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Gardens!

With excellent facilities throughout, this property also offers lots of lovely light and space and is set over 3 floors and with 2 beautifully furnished and generous king-size bedrooms with an en-suite to one of these and a TV in both of them, plus a further, lovely twin bedded room and a stunning family bathroom. The living accommodation downstairs is equally generous with comfortable furniture, a 60-inch plasma TV, free guest Wi-Fi, a modern kitchen and dining area and a small, enclosed patio with a table and chairs for dining and relaxing outdoors.

Staying in the heart of Alnwick, you will have easy access to a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. The quirky and unique Barter Books (famous for the original Keep Calm and Carry On marketing theme and model railway running overhead) is just around the corner and a must visit! - as well as the twice weekly market in the town square and the popular monthly farmer’s market. For great eating, you are spoilt for choice and a memorable restaurant The Treehouse restaurant at Alnwick Gardens is well worth a try!

Creamery Cottage is also ideally situated for exploring the whole of the Northumberland AONB (Area of Natural Beauty) both countryside and coastline; including the Northumberland National Park (Dark Skies award), the stunning beach at Alnmouth and the pretty harbour and Dunstanburgh Castle at Craster (both only 15 mins away). Plus, you can visit Seahouses for The Farne Island boat trips, Bamburgh for its beach, Castle and village, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Beadnell bay for water sports.

For golfers there are plenty of friendly courses open all year round to visitors.

This cottage accepts two well behaved dogs.

Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are all included.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £150 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Lovely quiet location. Near to Barter Books with Cafe. Close to parks and play areas for kids and dog. A nice and easy walk into town. Beautiful holiday cottage.

Great location, short walk to centre of Alnwick and all attractions. Cottage well equipped, everything you need to satisfy all ages, including three teenagers! Good quality and tasteful fittings and furniture. Plenty of parking and very friendly and welcoming neighbours. Very relaxing break all in all and would definitely book again.

The house is lovely, very clean, very well and tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped. Great entertainment system with access to digital TV services for a wet day. It is in a great location for walking into town and also a short drive from great walks and places to visit. The town itself is lovely.

Conveniently located within the town, at the end of a cul-de-sac, this is a high specification property that is great for a family of 4 or 5 (with teenage children) but can accommodate up to 6 people within 3 bedrooms. The house was fabulous very modern wholly down to IKEA in a great quiet location beds so comfortable and shower great in our room which was en suite. Very clean. We cooked six nights and managed with the equipment well. Dish washer always a bonus. It wasnt cheap but you get what you pay for.

This cottage is lovely, as two of our party are gluten free it was fabulous to have such a well equiped kitchen to make our own food. We are from Australia and spent two weeks in the UK before travelling on to Iceland, therefore the washer dryer was really great. The location of the cottage and parking spaces were perfect. We had a wonderful relaxing time in this extremely comfortable well presented cottage. The location was perfect and within easy reach of the coast and some lovely dog walks for our two four legged friends. Like previous guests our intention was to eat out a few times but we never did preferring the comfort of the cottage and the benefit of Netflix.Read more The welcome pack was much appreciated and thank you. This is a beautiful cottage, a real home from home for us. We had plans to go out in the evening but it was so warm and welcoming we were all happy staying in and taking advantage of the big screen and homely atmosphere. We will definitely return.
