Noisy at night due to takeaway service and hotel outside catering nearby. Cottage looked to have been hastily cleaned upon our arrival and we struggled to obtain hot water. Frozen compartment was frozen and we spent a couple of hours defrosting it in order to put in frozen dog meat. However issues were dealt with promptly. So wouldn't recommend untRead moreil refurbishment complete. However near to good restaurants and all main facilities. Hide

Absolutely loved my time in Seahouses. The cottage was centrally located, had all the comforts in the cottage I needed. Clean, comfortable, ideal for a small family, pet friendly as well, as is the town. One of the best beaches I have ever seen. Highly recommended. Food in the town very good, odd place a little on the pricey side (Bamburgh Castle IRead morenn, 4.95 for a pint of beer). I would definitely choose Seahouses again over many locations in the UK and even Europe. Hide
