The property is amazing definitely a four star accommodation. You have everything you need it was great also having an enclosed garden for the dogs and with tile and wood flooring we didn't worry about carpets getting dirty as we stayed during storm babet they were getting very wet . We enjoyed it so much we will be rebooking for next year

A good base to tour the area from. A good sized, enclosed garden for dogs or children to run about in. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need for your holiday.

Lovely cottage in a great location. We had a lovely week here and would certainly recommend this cottage. Close to both Rothbury and Alnwick.

Lovely cottage in a great location with stunning views. Noisy-ish busy road outside but not a problem if you are out during the day.

We had two weeks in this cottage. The beds and sofas were very comfy, cosy and a good size. It is equipped well and we had all we needed. We love the area, looked forward to relaxing, sitting out in the garden, but cottage is right next to the very busy A697, with heavy fast traffic and sadly this did not work for us. It was just too busy in the daRead moreytime but quieter at night. Dog walks from cottage difficult, so used a dog walking field close by at times. A good base tho to tour Northumberland. Hide

Good property but no walks from it so dogs into car and off you go. But great central location. Very clean and comfortable. Be aware this property is on a very busy main road.

This comfortable cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Alnwick area. We loved being so close to Cragside and within easy reach of Alnwick and the coast. Once Thrunton Woods reopens after safety work (following Storm Arwen) it will be ideal for local dog walking too.

Cottages very well equipped and had all we needed, including iron, hairdryer etc. we stayed in March and heating was inadequate. Also there is a water heater you need to turn on for hot water. Not sure I would stay again in colder months but in warmer weather definitely.

Good for a short stay but limited scope to walk dogs - Thrunton wood was closed and the fishery do not allow dogs on their site.
