Attractively rustic and beautifully furnished, this luxurious detached holiday cottage is the perfect choice for a family looking to experience the Northumberland coast in comfort.

Farley Cottage is a beautifully presented, detached, luxury holiday cottage with a large, enclosed garden, beautiful sun room, off-road parking and spacious accommodation for up to 5 guests. The property is situated in the hamlet of Ellingham with its own pub and just a few minutes' drive from Beadnell village, beach and bay in our award winning coastal region.

There is a light and spacious lounge with a cosy, wood-burning stove, a large kitchen/diner with a sofa and lovely, feature fireplace. In addition, there is a newly built, beautiful sun-room with huge sliding doors allowing you to bring the outside in, with comfortable sofas and a dining table and chairs. Perfect place to kick-back and relax with a glass of wine or a coffee and enjoy views of the garden, birds and wild life all year round! The large sliding doors lead you outside to the enclosed, walled garden, with a range of high quality garden furniture, a smart gazebo and a BBQ.

On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king size bed with a pretty, en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom has twin beds and a full size, single day bed. There is a family shower room and a play area with doll’s house and games on the landing.

This is the perfect base for a seaside holiday for a family or friends as you are only a 10-minute drive from the popular coastal village of Beadnell which boasts a fantastic beach, harbour area and plenty of water sports to take part in or simply watch. The coastal path here brings you to the neighbouring fishing village of Seahouses with a range of restaurants, cafes, gift shops and harbour, from where you can hop aboard one of the many daily boat trips to the popular Farne Islands, home to an array of seabirds including the famous Puffins and not forgetting the resident seals.

Other must-see places to visit during your stay, include Bamburgh to see the impressive Castle or visit the RNLI Grace Darling Museum, slightly further afield and you can also enjoy great days out at The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, The impressive Alnwick Garden and Castle in the medieval market town of Alnwick to name but a few!

This stunning cottage has been lovingly refurbished throughout and offers guests an impressive range of modern and traditional features and facilities to help you relax, spread out and make the most of your cottage holiday in Northumberland.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
